WHEN ARE THE BDRs IN MY OFFICE? In order to more efficiently service the businesses in all industries across both the Maitland and Cessnock regions, and subsequently your participants wishing to work in these industries, we have updated our BDR Dual Site Roster. In doing so, we have mitigated the previously reported challenge of only having each BDR in the Cessnock office every three weeks. The new BDR Dual Site Roster will be in effect from January through to March 2021 at which point it will be reviewed to assure efficacy before rolling out the April through June roster. This new roster is the result of direct feedback from our colleagues in our DES and TTW teams across both Cessnock and Maitland, so please, if you have any feedback – be it positive or negative – please email Tiffany.Watters@maiwel.com.au or direct your feedback to your Service Lead to pass onto Tiffany for review before the end of March 2021. All feedback is welcomed to assure we are working as a cohesive and collaborative team to better service our business partners, and your participants alike. The BDR Dual Site Roster can be viewed in the following folder on the O: Drive:

MEET THE BDR SESSIONS REINTRODUCED With great pleasure the Business Development Team announce the reintroduction of the monthly Meet The BDR sessions for 2021. The goal of these sessions is for you to accompany your Place-Ready-phase TtW participants, and Green-phase DES participants, to an interview with the BDR aligned to the job goal of your participant. This will offer valuable insight for the relevant BDR to align your participant for an existing or future employment opportunity with our network of businesses, or for the BDR to acquire the necessary knowledge to broker a position for your participant. To aid us in offering this service to you please ensure that you have placed your participant on your respective target job seeker spreadsheet located on the O: Drive in the following location:

We have now also simplified the booking process for you to reserve your meeting slot with the respective BDR. In the following folder on the O:Drive you will now be able to access the relevant booking form yourself:

MEET THE BDR BOOKING FORM The revised booking form contained in each of the aforementioned folders for each location now appears as follows:

As these booking forms are now available to all EAs and YSMs you are now welcome to insert your participants booking into any available time slot listed. If you feel your participant may require a longer meeting than the 15 minutes, please book out two timeslots. We ask for your cooperation in ensuring that you are available to attend the Meet The BDR session with your participant to ensure continuity of service to your participant, and sharing of information across our linked business units. We thank you in advance for your support in channeling BDR meetings with your participants to the specified days of the month wherever possible. This will ensure the BDR’s schedules are focused on marketing your participants to our business network, and creating employment opportunities generally. Following the Meet The BDR sessions with your participants, the BDR will now be responsible for the CIMS notes for these meetings.
