SWERVE is a new arts and literature journal based in Skibbereen, West Cork, The Republic of Ireland, that encourages work from new and emerging writers and artists for publication alongside more established names. We publish poetry and prose and all forms of visual art and are very interested in works in translation. We arrange artist/writer collaborations for exhibition in the SWERVE Gallery and Project Space. The SWERVE artist-in-residence programme invites a visual artist/writer to spend time at a live/work space in Skibbereen where there is easy access to the stunning West Cork countryside.
