Understanding the retailing of cosmetics in metros and tier ll cities, I designed a language that would be adapted for the brand’s various touchpoints - from backwall units, front counters, tester units to the brand’s exclusive stores pan India.

Course: Design for Retail Space Faculty Guide: Asst. Prof. Pritharshv Pushkar The project aimed at introducing authentic India coffees to the domestic market. I designed a standalone coffeehouse which would appeal mainly to the businesspersons and well established professionals. The coffeehouse is meant to be located at high-streets that offers an experience of Indian coffees and imparts knowledge on the history, value and the making of coffee - from bean to cup.

The area for the exhibition was 25x12meter. Wipro Lighting have tied up with global Product designers like Micheal Foley and Michel Tortel to develop these ranges. Wipro wanted to execute these range of products at Light India show.

Course: Museum Design Faculty Guide: Asst. Prof. Pritharshv Pushkar In this project I had to design a museum of historical era and detail one gallery. I have designed a museum for 18th century, where we studied about the events and art movement which took place in the 18th century and analysed them, so that we could narrate the entire era in order of events in the museum. This gallery is designed to showcase fashion of the 18th century.

To allow for an in-depth understanding and a very small pixel size, we walked every street, listing and rating built forms, open spaces, monuments and landmarks, to a list of diverse criteria, in an effort to quantify the suburb’s pedestrian response and mapping all aspects of pedestrian friendly Bandra.

Course: Technically Complex Retail Project Faculty Guide: Asst. Prof. Pritharshv Pushkar Technical retail involved studying the characteristics of a brand and its product to create a detailed display system for it. The product created was violin stand for the furtados music store. The concept of the 5 strings comes from the strings of a music sheet. The use of brass finished wires for the same under tension together act as a strong plane to support the violins, without making the surface visually bulky.
