The Student’s Books are divided into four units of five lessons each, followed by a task-based Competency Development page reviewing language covered in the unit and developing disciplinary competencies. The Grammar and Vocabulary Workbook section includes grammar reference tables and explanations to supplement the grammar analyzed in class, as well as exercises for consolidation. At the back of the book, a two-page Self-Test and Self-Evaluation section per unit is designed to allow students to assess their progress throughout the semester. The evaluation consists of two tables of ‘Can do’ statements covering the language and competencies in each unit.
