Commercial and sports photographer Jomar R. Galvez, on a trip to Snake Island, Honda Bay, Palawan, shot these two starfishes using his Canon 7D a few feet from the shore. At first hesitant to touch the starfishes, he and his companions eventually picked up and held the marine species for a few minutes. When the starfishes’ tubed feet started to tickle their hands, the curious travelers gently put them back into the water. www.jomargalvez.com
