Head Coach Lynze Roos holds the record for most career wins with 116
After losing all six starters to graduation, head volleyball coach Lynze Roos still set out for the 2011 season with expectations of a fifthstraight appearance in the NCAA Tournament. The Fighting Knights started the season with five wins in their first six games including a victory over No. 18 Emporia State. Lynn also tallied impressive victories over Florida Southern, Saint Leo and Barry throughout the season, but just missed postseason play and finished with a 14-17 overall record. New to the team, junior middle blocker Brittany Brown amassed 351 kills on the season and averaged 3.38 kills per set to total top-five rankings in the Lynn single season record books for each category. Junior setter Abbey Brokop also made a major impact to the success of the Fighting Knights in 2011. Brokop led the squad and set career marks in assists with 1038 and digs with 280. She is the first player in program history to lead the team in both assists and digs in a single season.
