Feeder lambs had no available comparison. Slaughter ewes and bucks were sharply higher. In goats, slaughter kids were mostly 2.00 to 7.00 lower, while slaughter nannies were mostly steady. Slaughter billies were unevenly steady and wethers were 10.00 to sharply lower. Trade activity and buyer demand was moderate to good. The sheep supply consisted of approximately 45 percent slaughter lambs and 10 percent feeder lambs with the balance being slaughter ewes and bucks. The goat supply consisted of approximately 60 percent slaughter kids, 20 percent slaughter nannies/does with the balance being slaughter billies and wethers. Sheep and lambs are sold on a per cwt basis and goats are sold on a per head basis unless otherwise noted.
