There were several nominees for the Above & Beyond award. Nominees were businesses or individuals who have gone ―above and beyond‖ the call of duty for the betterment of the Greater Hillyard community and their unique contribution is deserving of recognition. Finally, the last award of the night was the Hillyard Hall of Fame Award. The nominees, Aunt Bea, Marj Brewer, Desi Bucknell, Jim & Deana Solomon and Dave Griswold, are deserving of ―emeritus‖ status.
