In a press briefing on Monday, Comelec Chairman Juan Andres Bautista said that seven days is a safe projection but they will try to make the proclamation earlier. “I think one week is a good target but we tried to out perform,” he said at the 2016 Elections National Headquarters at the Philippine International Convention Centre (PICC) in Pasay City. Bautista noted that the proclamation of the top 12 winners

He added that they will try to improve their performance than in the 2013 polls. “Of course, we will try to outperform (the 2013 elections),” he said. See COMELEC, page 12
