This course presents information on identification and cultivation of many herbaceous perennials native to our area. The knowledgeable staff at Mt. Cuba Center selected the species for their garden adaptability and availability as nursery propagated plants. Gain valuable tips on purchasing, site selection, planting, and maintenance, as well as companion plants. Guided plant walks at Mt. Cuba Center and Longwood Gardens are included.
