Editorial Note The Global Journal of Life Sciences and Biological Research (GJLSBR) has made another developmental transition, a very healthy step forward. I am glad to mention that during the year 2019, Volume 5, Issues 2 of the journal. The journal established in 2015 has now published 5 volumes; two issues in a year. GJLSBR is an online peer-reviewed international research journal that provides a platform to professors, scholars, academicians, professionals and students for publishing the research outcome from across the fields of biology and other life sciences Global Journal of Life Sciences and Biological Research is an Open Access and peer reviewed medical journal aims to publish most complete and reliable source of information on the discoveries and current developments in the mode of original articles, review articles, case reports, research articles, short communications, letters to editor, perspectives, editorials, commentaries etc. Manuscripts can be submitted either through our online portal or through email at globallifesciences@journalsci.org The journal allows authors to submit article, track article status, respond to the reviewers’ comments, and revision requests. This multipurpose tool allows editors and reviewers to get access to the manuscript for review and to communicate with author. As a Scientific Open Access journal, the journal encourages original research, which is not published or under consideration elsewhere for publication. The Journal covers a wide range of interest in the field of Botany, Zoology, Environmental Science, Agricultural Sciences, Medical Sciences, Veterinary Sciences, Anthropology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Biophysics, Biotechnology, Endocrinology, Molecular Biology, Home
Sciences, Cellular Biology, chemical sciences, bioscience & health science and related fields and making them freely available worldwide through scholarly publishing. One of the objectives of this journal is to encourage publication from different streams of research that helps to enrich further the discourse on life science and biological research work We take this opportunity to thank the authors/publishers for sending their books for review and excellent book review by authors. During the calendar year 2019, received a total of papers, out of which 30 articles (90%) were rejected in the preliminary screening due to plagiarism or being out of the format. During 2019 around 40 articles were subjected to the peer-review process and 20 of those were accepted. Total of 16 articles were published (at an average of 3 articles per issue) of which, 50% articles were by foreign authors. I take this opportunity to acknowledge the contribution of Dr. Mukesh Yadav during the final editing of articles published and the support rendered by the editorial assistant, prof. ukpaka chukwuemeka in bringing out issues of GJLSBR in time. I am sure with their guidance, we will be able to make this journal more relevant to the research community I would also like to express my gratitude to all the authors, reviewers, the publisher, the advisory and the editorial board of GJLSBR, the office bearers and staff of IPA secretariat for their support in bringing out yet another volume of GJLSBR and look forward to their unrelenting support to bring out the Volume of GJLSBR in scheduled time.
