NEWS BRIEF Lone Lake 4th of July Activities VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES GET INTO THE ZONE: LLPOA is looking for volunteers who would like to be on an Aquatic Invasive Species ZONE TEAM. Volunteers will examine docks in their zone once per month during the summer season to look for invasive species. Contact Steve Frazier at sfrazier@usjet.net. STARRY STONEWART TRAINING Lone Lake has been selected to be part of a U of M program on Starry Stonewart. Training is offered on Sat., Aug 17, on Farm Island Lake. More information to come. Please contact Steve Frazier if you might be interested in participating.

July 4th at 8:30 a.m. Lone Lake Triathlon starts at the public beach. Swim, Bike and Run - individuals and teams welcome. No pre-registration required. Medals! July 4th at Noon: LLPOA Annual Boat Parade: Decorate your boat and dock. Boaters meet at the bay near the public access. Trophies for best pontoon, speed boat, and dock. Put lot number on your boat or dock. PLEASE BOAT WITH CARE — Watch out for smaller craft and swimmers! Keep proper distance from docks. There are baby loons on the lake. Give them plenty of space.
