What happens in Volume 1: Our new series is set in the familiar Minecraft world, in a village on the edge of a canyon. Nano loves to play tricks on the villagers, which leads to many exciting adventures. But this time he takes it too far and causes chaos in the village: The snow golem he built devastates the entire village! To remain undiscovered and escape punishment, Nano and and his best friend Maffi hide in a boat that suddenly drifts out to sea without a rudder! The two are stranded on an island, which is not as deserted as it seems at first. Because when it gets dark, the familiar Minecraft monsters crawl out of the caves. Maffi and Nano must now find a way to escape the monsters and, of course, find their way back home. In the end, they succeed with the help of a stranger, but when they arrive in the village, no one believes what they have experienced. Everyone thinks the adventure they have had is just a fictional story.

But that's quickly forgotten when Maffi and he are surprised by a monster. The two are able to escape through a Nether portal - but Nano stumbles right into the arms of the Goldgrunts. He is captured by them, because strangers are not wanted there and must be sacrificed to the black spirits. Oh dear! Luckily, Maffi has seen everything. Together with a friendly Goldgrunt child, she is working on a plan to free her best friend from the clutches of the Goldgrunts. At the last moment, she jumps out of her hiding place and requests that she and Nano be accepted into the tribe. The leader doesn't like this at all. He thinks up three difficult tasks for the two, which they must pass in turn: they have to fight a great warrior, capture a rotten man and get a black spirit With brains and determination, they master all the tasks. But when the mean leader does not want to keep his word, the Goldgrunts protest and the black spirit takes him to a deserted island. The child becomes the new leader of the tribe. And Maffi and Nano return to their village where, of course, once again no one believes their adventures

What happens in Volume 3: Nano and Maffi are on vacation in an idyllic village by the sea, where they meet siblings Lini and Honk. Soon Lini and Nano clash. Both are convinced that they are much stronger, smarter and braver than the other! That's why they go together with Maffi and Honk into the nearby jungle and look for a secret, dangerous temple to prove their courage. But then the four get lost and suddenly night falls ... Nano has had enough of the others and decides to strike out on his own. In the process, he meets an environmentalist who, together with her team, works to protect the jungle and the animals. Through a parrot, Nano learns that his friends are being held captive by robbers and, together with the environmentalists, tries to free them all. Fortunately, the villagers are already looking for them, because they are powerless against the robbers. Together they overpower them and free Lini, Honk and Maffi. Lini and Nano talk things out and realize that it's okay to be scared and stop bickering all the time, they become good friends.

The Village In a world of cubes, a small village lies on the edge of a canyon. Nightwalkers, bangers and other dangers threaten the peace, but the villagers know how to defend themselves. NANO is a cheeky boy who has nothing but nonsense in his head - at least that's what Birta, his teacher, thinks. Nano, on the other hand, thinks he is clever, brave and inventive.
Ever since Maffi's father KOLLE was bitten by a nightwalker, he has had superpowers when he gets angry.
Priest MAGOLUS considers himself the most important villager. Everyone else thinks he is a slacker and a show-off.
MAFFI is Nano's best friend, if sometimes a little overcautious, he thinks. Unfortunately, she is usually right.
BIRTA is Magolus' helper and the village teacher. She is mean and totally unfair, Nano and Maffi agree.
Nano's father PRIMO is the village protector. He used to be an adventurer, just like his son. That's why he often has sympathy for Nano's pranks.
ASIMOV, the iron golem, finds the villagers, rather strange. He is very strong and clever, only he is afraid of water.
GOLINA is Nano's mother. She is quite strict, but he loves her anyway.
