The logo was based on the letter ‘A’ from Plan A with the circular shape made out of leaves representing the idea of sustainability. We wanted to create something that looks professional but at the same time quite friendly and approachable.

The main concept of our campaign is ‘MAKE YOUR PLEDGE TO THE PLANET’. This involves encouraging the customers to make their own pledges to lead a more ecological lifestyle through the help of Plan A.

rubish... I pledge to recycle

I pledge to leave the car at home and walk...

I pledge to save our planet....

I pledge to buy from fairtrade

I pledge to re-use carrier bags...

Putting real pledges on the walls inside the stores along with illustrations to promote Plan A. The designs will go on the walls around areas where people will have time to stop to read the pledges.

Make Your Pledge to The Pla net

Pledge to Plan A

Designs for the ‘bags for life’ to encourage people to stop taking carrier bags. This is also a way to promote Plan A outside of the stores. We also propose that the designs can be applied to other objects used regularly instore such as supermarket trolleys, baskets and check out tills.

A 50 second animated ident to be played during adverts on TV. This is our resolution for promoting Plan A not just to existing customers but also for potential new customers.

We propose that the ident could be played between programmes genrally watched by Marks and Spencers shoppers or food and housing related TV programmes.
