In the year 2016 it seems that music has been more influential than ever. The genre of music doesn’t seem to matter either. Anything from pop to country music has been repeatedly played on most phones, radios, computers, etc. Recent favored artists may include The Weeknd, Adele, Beyonce, and Bruno Mars. All of these artists have held number 1 songs and have reached the standard of more than popular. Think of that one song that you really enjoy, and like to listen to. For example, Black Beatles by Rae Sremmurd featuring Gucci Mane has reached national stardom. This song being played has become a regular occurrence with most kids and teens. Everyone has their favorite songs. So who’s your favorite artist?

Did you know music can affect us and how we live? There are ways that music can help us concentrate and study, express our emotions, and challenge your mind. How do you think music can affect us?

Ways With Music There are a lot ways that music can affect or help us. Such as, listening to music can help you study and finish tasks. Of course, studies and researchers seem to indicate that music can actually help you study and those who listen to music while studying may actually be better off for it. Also, listening to music can actually help you focus, but you have to like it. Studies shows that there’s a specific spectrum of musical properties that the brain prefers which is finding funky music.

Music Affecting our Health

Did you know music can affect your affect your brain? Listening to music can hit in a special way causes to release dopamine which is known as feel good chemical. Even for your heart, music can increase or decrease your heart rate and blood pressure. So it’s like the heart is going with the beat and rhythm of the music.

The earliest type of music was drum-based, percussion instruments being the most available. More advanced instruments were made by American Indians and African Natives. It’s known that by 4000 BCE the Egyptians had created harps and flutes, and by 3500 BCE lyres and double-reeded clarinets had been developed. Greece was was the root of all Classical art, so it’s no coincidence that Classical music is within in Grecian innovations. In 600 BCE, the famed mathematician Pythagoras dissected music as a science and developed what is called modern music: which is the octave scale. Meanwhile in China, music was also progressing: it was reported that in 612 CE that there were orchestras with hundreds of musicians performing for the assorted dynasties. In 1000 CE Guido D’Arezzo invented solfege.
