Xcel’s exclusive Quick Dry Lining is made from recycled polyester fibers, saving materials that would otherwise end up in landfills.
ThermoBamboo is Xcel’s bamboo charcoal-based inner neoprene lining, also made from recycled polyester fibers.
We choose limestone (versus a petroleum-based synthetic product) as the base component for all Xcel neoprene and glue.
Its faster drying time and excellent heat retention properties improve warmth and overall performance.
Made from a unique blend of bamboo charcoal and recycled polyester fibers, ThermoCarbon has excellent heat retention and helps improve warmth.
This results in an earth-friendlier final product, and a cleaner manufacturing process that utilizes hydroelectricity and repurposes waste heat for local aqua farming.
SOLAR POWERED HEADQUARTERS Our Haleiwa, Hawaii headquarters is powered by clean, renewable solar energy to help reduce our carbon footprint. A 34-kilowatt PV (photo voltaic) system installed on the Xcel building roof is estimated to offset over 885 tons of carbon dioxide emissions over its lifetime.

TDC (THERMO DRY CELLIANT), is a unique wetsuit lining with mineral-enhanced, naturally-hydrophobic smart fibers that are activated by your body heat. TDC is a responsive textile that recycles your body heat – that would otherwise be wasted – into beneficial infrared energy. This infrared energy provides a huge boost in warmth, and delivers a wide range of overall performance benefits. /

One important component is THERMOBAMBOO, a lining made of recycled plastic fibers infused with heat-retaining bamboo charcoal. LIMESTONE NEOPRENE continues to be the base component for all XCEL neoprene and glue. This reduces the part of oil. / Eine aus recycelten PET-Flaschen hergestellte Faser, die mit Bambuskohle imprägniert wird. XCEL verwendet dieses wärmespendende und wasserabweisende Gewebe für die Innenkaschierung von Anzügen, Handschuhen, Füsslingen, Kopfhauben und Westen. LIMESTONE NEOPREN: Zur Herstellung von Chloroprenpolymer, dem Basisstoff von Neopren, verwendet XCEL Kalkstein (auf Englisch Limestone), um den Erdölgehalt im Neopren zu reduzieren. / Fibre fabriquée à base de bouteilles de PET recyclées, imprégnée avec du charbon de bambou. Cette fibre hydrophobe et retenant la chaleur est parfaitement adaptée à la fabrication de vêtements destinés aux sports aquatiques. XCEL l’utilise pour le revêtement intérieur des combinaisons, bottillons, gants, cagoules et vestes.
