In keeping with the Up Grade blank the fittings are also up graded with Fuji Alconite Concept K guides, light two piece Fuji winch, abbreviated duplons and a brushed gold finish. The Nano Spin will cope with a wide range of different lures and styles allowing you to swap with ease from working a surface popper to bouncing a soft plastic across the sea bed. The feedback through the rod is superb allowing you to feel the lure respond as you work it and also telegraph those tell tale taps and nudges as a fish first shows interest in the bait.

LIGHTING Veals Mail Order guide to choosing the right headlamp... With so many different head lamps available today it can be difficult to make a choice. It would be very easy simply to go for the brightest you can afford, but this should not be your only consideration. If you fish on a very regular basis and can be a little rough with your kit, a headlamp lacking in build quality could let you down. You may be better off selecting a more robust model. If you only fish occasionally and from the relative safety of a shingle beach, it is pointless spending a fortune on an ultra powerful lamp. Fishing for bass after dark is another time a powerful lamp is a big no-no as the fish will scarper if a bright light is directed at them. If money is no object, you do get what you pay for, but it is also worth carrying a cheap back up should you find yourself at the bottom of a cliff in the early hours of the morning and your lamp gives out.
