CUSTOMIZED TOY SUITCASE Materials: Mini-suitcase, thick cardboard, fabric, foam padding or filler Tools: Pencil, utility knife, scissors, glue gun Place the suitcase on the cardboard and trace around the contour of the suitcase to create a pattern that fits the suitcase’s cover. Cut out the shape from the cardboard. Cut a piece of the padding/filler to fit the cardboard piece, then cut a piece of fabric that is approx. 2-3 cm larger than the cardboard. Glue the padding onto the cardboard. Wrap the fabric around the padding and glue the edges onto the backside of the cardboard. Glue the finished piece to the top of your suitcase lid and you’re ready to fill it with fun! 89
