The BeCode is an electronic locking system for furniture, which manages completely without bothersome keys or transponders. It can be used in diverse areas, ranging from offices, fitness studios, schools, authorities and hotels to hospitals. The BeCode is distinguished by a novel, high quality free-spinning system; it can be installed left or right as required. The BeCode’s elegant appearance is easy to integrate in any piece of furniture and permits fast use thanks to its effortless fitting. Handling the BeCode is straightforward and saves time compared to a key. The characters and symbols for entering a particular code are selected or confirmed by turning and pressing. BeCode evo – ideal for almost every locking system The BeCode evo is suitable for use in combination with conventional lock systems and is easily combinable with most using an adapter (Häfele Symo 3000, Euro-Locks, Lehmann/ Hettich, Huwil, Meroni, Ojmar, Burg/Würth “Style21”, Hekna/ Würth “MS1000” etc.) BeCode evo+ – with integrated lever lock The BeCode evo+ is fully equipped with an integrated lever lock (+ stands for the lever lock) and can be used to match standard drill holes. This makes retrofitting where required child’s play.

Software BeCode evo and evo+ All BeCode evo and BeCode evo+ are supplied with a preinstalled software package offering six different modes of operation (Easy Local User Mode, Local User Mode, One Time User Mode , Easy One Time User Mode, Central User Mode and Multi User Mode). The UserCode is the code for the normal user of the cabinet. By contrast, the MasterCode allows you to administer the UserCodes and switch between the preinstalled modes. It can of course also be used like a master key in the event of a user forgetting his code. Easy Local User Mode The Easy Local User Mode as standard mode is the simplest of all variants. Code length is here restricted to 4 digits and compared to all other modes, this mode manages with far fewer operation steps. When closing the door the BeCode locks itself automatically.
Local User Mode The Local User Mode is intended for regular use by the same user. This mode is for instance ideal for offices and private use, doctors’ surgeries, pharmacies and many other locations. Users can select their own Master- and UserCodes. Easy One Time User Mode The Easy One Time User Mode is intended for environments where the user of the cabinet often changes, such as a changing cabin. To close the cabinet the user enters their own UserCode, which immediately lapses after the cabinet door is opened. This mode is popular in changing cabins, hospitals, locker systems, call centres, etc. One Time User Mode Works just like the Easy One Time User Mode. The difference is that the UserCode selected has to be entered a second time in confirmation on closing for security reasons. This prevents possible errors during the entry. Central User Mode Works like Local User Mode. The difference is that the code administration can only be carried out by the administrator. The latter administers the locking plans and assigns individual UserCodes to the corresponding users. This mode is used where central code administration is needed and the individual user is to have no opportunity to change the assigned UserCodes. Multi User Mode The Multi User Mode permits up to eight users to operate the BeCode with their respective individual codes. This mode requires the BeCode Admin Kit (PC docking station with corresponding software). This mode is popular in the service field, e.g. in the case of server and switching cabinets used by different people. By means of the Admin Kit, amongst other things it is possible to find out which user last opened the cabinet with which code.
Admin kit for the BeCode The two basic functions of the Admin Kit are on the one hand configuration of the BeCode and on the other the protocol data readout. Furthermore, via the Admin Kit it is possible to assign up to 8 different UserCodes to one single BeCode. The Admin Kit consists of an adaptor for contacting the BeCode by means of USB cable and software for Windows PCs. During configuration, the operation mode can be selected, the minimum code lengths can be set and the BeCode be restored at any time to its delivery condition. In addition, Master- and UserCodes can be assigned and documented with the configuration utility. Using the accompanying Admin Kit software, locking plans can be produced and administered automatically or manually. The last 28 code entries can be read out with the readout function. This makes it possible to recognise attempts at manipulation, determine access by MasterCode or UserCode and see the times of the last accesses.
