The Great Wall • Several walls have been built since the 5th century BC that are referred to collectively as the Great Wall, which has been rebuilt and maintained from the 5th century BC through the 16th century. -From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Tiananmen Square • Tiananmen Square is a large city square in the center of Beijing, China.



Kunming, China Yunnan Province The Golden Temple, one of many temples we visited.


As with most Taoist temples, you approach it by climbing up a mountainside on winding stone steps and pass through a series of "Heavenly Gates". The three Heavenly Gates of the Golden Temple are highly decorated with painted archivolts and carved beams and rafters.
