A Q&A on the music industry. An opportunity to meet those involved in various aspects of making and releasing music. This will be a chance to get some cheat notes direct from the people who should be in your address book. With Jen Long (host), Ally McCrae, Nicole McNeilly, James Passmore, Dan Millington, Mark Montgomery Panel Information: Jen Long - Presenter for BBC Radio 1’s Introducing programme (and voice of BBC 3) Jen along with co-host Ally can often lay claim to giving bands and producers from Belfast their first play on BBC Radio 1. Ally McCrae - With his co-host Jen, Ally is responsible for looking after much of the new music that makes its way onto BBC Radio 1.

Upload a track to the BBC ’Uploader’ and if Ally or Jen like it, it will get played on national BBC Radio 1. Nicole McNeilly - Grants Coordinator, PRS for Music Foundation. Nicole works closely with the Grants Manager, assisting with the processing and assessing of all PRSF’s funding programmes. She also coordinates New Music Plus... UK and Adopt a Composer. James Passmore - The director & founder of radio promotions company Plugged In PR and record label National Anthem. Plugged In have carried out national radio campaigns for the likes of Haim, Chvrches, Azealia Banks and Bloc Party. In 2012 James started National Anthem, responsible for the debut releases from Haim and Chvrches. Dan Millington - PPL Performer Account Manager whose responsibility is to work with new and up-and-coming artists plus established acts. Dan has been
