Blogspot You Are Capable You began as a young girl, who was frightened by seeing breasts grow, getting your first period. It further continued to seeing your sister, cousin or friend using pond's, putting on a perfume, making sure you were neat at all times. That time when you were told you are beautiful and you never stopped blushing. You had your girlfriends in a group of 5 or more, wearing similar clothes, going up and down the street, making all the noise in the world like there's no tomorrow. You woke up each day, going to school, passing well, enjoying every day that comes, school trips and other activities at school. You never used to worry much about where your future is going, but enjoying each day that comes & doing what your parents and teachers told you. You grow up, you become rebellious, mature with time..mmmm this is the part I like. Having Friends is the best thing one can have in their lives, also the worst thing that can happen, you had that friend who always felt like she's the leader amongst you guys as friends "Bosso", that friend who would stop you from going home early, that friend who liked boys & thought you were stupid if you didn't hang out with boys, Yeh etc. you know those types of friends. Often times you feel the pressure, feel like you want to fit in the crew, you want to belong. Having a smoke, taking a sip of alcohol, going home late and lie to your mum about it, you can mention others**by the way we talking about a Capable Woman. You know one thing I like about people is that they talk, some say good things, some say bad things, Out of all the talks from both sides you have a choice to choose what to store in your mind & apply in your life. Another thing I like about people is that they experience different things in life, e.g One gets pregnant at a young age, another drops out of school, one losses their parents, one falls in love and get a broken heart etc., then you get to engage with them and here what they have experienced & overcame their problems. "Reading that scenario wouldn't you say you are fortunate to be informed about something before it happens to you?" Often times in life we get ourselves involved in difficult, unbelievable situations & sometimes it's not because you want to but you don't understand and have knowledge of that action. Problems arises, reality kicks in, then you think back and say you know I was once told about this.. Ok, we still on A Capable Woman. Your background! Does it really need to define you? Does it really need to stop you from going to school? Does it really stop you from Working for your family & make life better? Your background shouldn't determine your future, A Capable Woman wakes up each day, prepares for school, come back from school to clean and cook.

A Capable Woman goes back to finish her matric after failing because of loosing focus, A Capable Woman forgives herself for having a child at a young age but still has high hopes about life and for the well-being of the child.A Capable Woman rise from being taken advantage of and stands of her feet to become the best.A Capable Woman believes in her power to lead and work hard for herself. A Capable Woman gets her matric, degree,diploma and doctorate and use that to her advantage, not get a rich man & use him as an advantage to have everything in the world. A Capable Womantakes herself out & spoils herself with the money she worked hard for, not the money she gets from a guy she depends on** one might say but I deserve to be spoiled, yes you do, we all do but Don’t make a mistake of depending on a man if he is not your father, your brother or husband Get up & work for yourself. No one is tying your hands,no one is stopping you from using your mind, be dependent the rest is a cherry on top. Have Pride & Maintain your dignity as A Capable Woman don’t let anyone stop you from achieving your goals in life, be a flower that brightens your family’s life, look back with a smile to that boy who dumped you for that other woman, also that boy You dumped because u thought he wasn’t good enough&u want for Iskhothane and then be se go Khotha! Invest In Yourself “I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples. Mother Teresa

Hi there, before you can begin with understanding the topic:Invest in yourself, let me ask you this, how often have you heard this questions, What can you tell me about yourself? you get this question from a person you just met, your friend, lecturer or from an interviewer. Now how do you answer this question? Well believe it or not there are many ways to answer this question, also your response is often influenced by the type of audience you engaging with. For example when answering this type of question , you have to note that as much as you are asked to talk about yourself , you must be selective and have an area of focus, area of focus doesn't mean you are making limitations on what you have to say but selecting specific words about yourself. The simplest example again can be the difference between talking to your parents or friends. This can be a question that is misunderstood or noted more but truth is, it is very important, it teaches you about understanding your own self. Investing in yourself means you build something of your own, something that will be of good use to your life and future. It's important to understand why you need to invest in yourself, as an individual you have the final word to what you need in life, especially if your at a mature age were you are able to make your own decisions. Every person on earth was born having both a mother and a father, but not everyone was raised with both a mother and a father. Being raised by one parent has it's own challenges, similar to being raised by two parent but at the end of the day you are raised. Often times we are told that Charity begins at home, meaning from the time of your birth, how you are raised and taught the house rules until your parent/s take you to varsity or allow you to leave your own life. I will not dwell much on how you should be raised but simply say the type of environment you where raised in cannot determine the way you want to leave in future. The knowledge you have acquired and choices that you make help to determine your outcomes in life, also your lifespan is dictated by your responsibility. Dependence and Independence: You are depended if you still get rely on someone else,e.g parents and you are independent if you are not relying on the help of anyone. Explaining this two keywords is mainly to differentiate the roles and responsibilities of a person as they grow. Ways to Invest in yourself Do the things that make you happy, e.g play sports, join gym, ice skating, go for a holiday Educate yourself Attend career seminors, leadership events

Obtain your learning certificates and degrees Study a course you love and make something of your life out of it Start your own business Invest in what you have learned by making it pay off Volunteer to help disadvantaged people Be a helping hand to the needy. Teach someone else what you know Set your own target of achievements Manage your time and note your progress Have a structured plan of what you want to accomplish You might be reading this and thinking, but i don't leave alone on earth I have a family, friends,kids,lover e.tc If I invest in myself what about them? Well as we said in the beginning , you alone can make your own choices, investing in yourself thus not make it difficult to care or consider others, but note that before anyone else its You and You alone. Before you got into a relationship /marriage, it was just you. Before you got a kids, it was you or friends it was just you, so investing in you helps you to became a better person in life. If you are not happy, it’s difficult to make the next person happy. It is through you where you get to find the real joy and happiness before you can give it to someone else. Have a stage in your life where you also want to see yourself paying for your studies, having your own secured job, home, car ,family etc. That is investing in yourself because that degree or job you have will open doors for you, that business that you have will take care of your family one day. It is no different if your a man or a woman bottom line is you must have your own independence and stability. If there is something that can never be taken away from you is your Knowledge, and you get that by Learning, which makes it important for you to be friends with being educated, because it is the key many closed doors waiting to be opened. Do not wait for tomorrow, take advantage of the opportunities in front of you and make that investment. It might not give you the results same time but as time progresses it will all pay off. The best thing about this investment is that it will not only benefit you but it will benefit those around you. It can be your family or anyone who looks up to you, therefore your personal investment can be rewarding to you and those around you. Do not worry yourself about the downfalls you come across in life, just have the courage to keep moving forward no matter the situation. You will get compliments and you will be criticized for what you do but as long as you believe in yourself enough to know that you are confidently stepping on your path to becoming a better you. Invest in your life today, believe that you are where you are today for a purpose, let not your yesterdays stop you from enjoying life or stop you from achieving anything you believe and set your mind into. As you begin your Journey, best wishes goes to you...while you at it don’t forget that you will come across trials and tribulations of life just hold on and never give up. ~Keep it real & Thanks for reading.

Road to Success=>

The road to success starts with a single step. From the day you learn, you building your success. It's like building bricks, a puzzle. As you go up you need to balance the puzzle/bricks more. At times they fall, but with the knowledge you learned from building them at first you apply it with experience and manage to balance. Success does not only apply on how educated you are, or how far you are academically, but also how you carry yourself towards success. The first step in your way to success is important and the experiences you face in life have a huge impact on your success. If you fall, and stay down, you fail yourself and limit your way to succeed in life. If you fall, and stand up again, it’s your way of saying I will not give up on what I believe in, which clearly shows that you are paving your path to success. When you begin to face challenges or problems, be it personally, in your family, at school or place of work that's when your strength is tested. When you are troubled nothing seem to make sense and sometimes the only way you think is best Is to quit... and I say no matter how big/ painful the problem is, there is a way out, it cannot be by day, by a month or a year but a way it’s always there. To see the light at the end of every situation is determined by you and you alone, no matter what people can do or say to help you, if you are not willing to make an agreement with yourself from within, no one can help. "It Starts With You, It Ends With You". If it starts with you then that right there is a success. Don’t be hard on yourself if you fail, make mistakes Its ok, it’s normal, after all you are human and not perfect.

“Learning”

The best thing that you can do for yourself is to learn from your failures: “Learn from your mistakes and apply the knowledge in your live, with an open mind, A free soul with no grudges or hate, because if you are not happy with yourself, if you have anger in you, Your live will be nothing but complicated. You can determine your own success today by just accepting the things you can't change”

“I have walked that long road to freedom. I have tried not to falter; I have made missteps along the way. But I have discovered the secret that after climbing a great hill, one only finds that there are many more hiils to climb. I have taken a moment here to rest, to steal a view of the glorious vista that surrounds me, to look back on distance I have come. But U can rest only for a moment, for with a freedom comes responsibilities, and I dare not linger, for my long walk is not yet ended”. ~ Nelson Mandela
