PHILOSOPHY

Food. Water. Shelter. The three universal needs to sustain life. Shelter, noted as a crucial necessity from the beginning of time, was built purely for protection. As the human mind was explored and the purpose of life questioned, the need for creativity was born. New ideas became a competition, a twist in the challenge to the “survival of the fittest.” Our shelters transformed into dwellings filled with furniture and accessories to make living easier, better, and faster. Most of our lives are spent indoors, sacrificing our natural habitat for a more luxurious, and less natural environment. In today’s technological era, our advancements can aid us in creating a world where the built environment can be both beautiful and healthy. My passion for music, art, religion, people, and education, has inspired me to design buildings such as musical amphitheatres, art museums, religious centers, hospitals, and educational buildings. I envision these designs will not only be of pure wonder, but will enhance every experience. My goal as a designer is to “combine technology, cognitive science, human need, and beauty” to design and create entirely sustainable buildings that, in essence, breathe with nature.
