12………………………………………….Skólahreysti Guðjón 15……………………………………………...The Maze Runner Manal

The Maze Runner is the first book in the science fiction trilogy by James Dashner. The book was published on October 6, 2009, and the movie came out release on September 19, 2014. The sequel to the movie, The Maze Runner: Scorch Trials is set to be released on September 18, 2015. Thomas and many other boys are put one by one every month in a community with no memory of their life. Thomas was the last boy that was sent up and soon learned that they're all trapped in a maze, and he ends up getting to do what he wanted, to be a runner and find out how he can get everyone home but it didn’t turn out the way he imagined. The maze changes every day so in order to get out they have to send three runners into the maze to run around and try to memorize it, come back and put it up on a board. And now you may ask yourself how they choose the runners? Well it just depends on how fast you are. It is very important for the runners to get back to the “camp” right before the maze closes and find the way back because they say that anyone who spends the night in the maze never comes back. Dylan O’brien was the person that scored the main role in the movie, Thomas. In the movie Thomas is a very brave boy and you could say fights for what he wants. He was mostly known for his role as Stiles Stilinski on Teen Wolf, Stuart on The Internship and Dave on The First Time. I can safely say this is one of my favorite movies, I haven't read the book but what really made me want to watch this movie was the cast I really like most of the actors and actress in this movie if I could give the cast a score it would be 11/10 they did a really good job. The storyline was very exciting and kept you interested most of the time and funny at some times. Overall I would really recommend watching this movie and for all the people who like books go ahead and read all of the 3 books I really doubt they aren’t going to be good. I would give this movie 4.5/5 stars.

Fifty Shades of Grey is a novel that started it out as Twilight fanfiction, and that says a lot about it. The novel is about Anastasia Steele, a literature student. She was doing her friend a favor when she met Mr. Grey to interview him, and since that day her life changed. The movie hasn’t gotten the best reviews even though it was not that bad. Many people say that the movie wasn’t that good but that they would go see the next movie. I thought that when someone doesn’t like a movie, most of the time they don’t go see the sequel in theaters, that makes me wonder if people are only saying that because of the reviews it has gotten and the bad “reputation” the book has. In the book some of the sex scenes were said to be rape, but in the movie I’m pretty sure they tried to insure that Anastasia gave consent to everything that happened. I’m not saying that people are lying about what they thought I’m just saying that the reviews could have just influenced their opinion on it. Personally I didn’t love the movie but I didn’t absolutely hate it so am I going to see the sequel? Probably, because the ending of the movie was intriguing and I want to see what could possibly happen in the sequel. I would not recommend to anyone under 16 to watch it because it just isn’t appropriate and worth your time.

Shrek review The movie Shrek is fantastic for all ages, gender and sexual orientation. The storyline is just mindblowing and I really liked the movie in general. My personal favorite character is Lord Farquaad, who is also known as Bjarni Ben. I like Lord Farquaad because of his attitude in the movie, he‘s sassy and has high self esteem. My favorite quote from Shrek is probably when Shrek is feeling a little down and says „They judge me before they even know me, that‘s why I‘m better off alone.“ because it really explains how Shrek truly is. I also really liked Shrek himself, because of how he acted throughout the movie, he was obviously hurt inside but acted really tough and angry to live up to his ogre expectations. Fun fact: The name ‘Shrek’ means monster, Another fun fact:

Do you believe that another world exists? A world that anything is possible and almost everything is funny? A world where every citizen is a cartoon? No? I didn´t think so. Well, Michael Jordan had the same thoughts in the movie Space Jam until he was playing golf one sunny day among with his friends. Then he was suddenly dragged down the hole and ended up being in the society of the Looney Tunes. Michael couldn´t believe his eyes when he saw all those known cartoon faces, for example Bugs Bunny, Daffy and Tweety. But there was a reason why the Tunes dragged him down to their world: they needed Jordan´s help. Villains from another planet, called The Monsters, had threatened the Tunes to take them over and make them their slaves. But the Tunes got an idea. They sat down and talked until they had made a decision. The Tunes decided to challenge the Monsters in basketball and if Bugs Bunny and his friends would win the game, they would get rid of the Monsters and would be free. So now Jordan would help his buddies to get the win and their freedom! I recommend this film for people in all age because if they like basketball, and have a good sense of humor and are a little bit random they will like this movie. But the reason why this film is one of my favorites is because I grew up watching it and I care a lot about it. It may not be the best film in the world or a film that won an Oscar but if it´s Saturday night and you have nothing to do, you could do worse than watching Space Jam!

Well… I thought the paper was just photo shoot and it is not cool and this is just a boy´s paper, I mean sports, cartoons and batman, there is nothing about fashion or something but there were recipes and that was good to have that so this wasn´t just a boy´s paper. Don´t include Frozen and try to cut down on the basketball and the cartoons. p.s. the jokes were nice I´m not trying to hurt you, this is just my opinion and I was asked for it. - Rakel Sól Pétursdóttir ——————————————————————————————————-Dear Rakel. Well… By definition a photoshoot is “a session in which a photographer takes pictures of someone for publication.” However that is not what we do here so I am not sure what you mean by telling us that the paper is just photo shoot. You say that the paper is just a “boy´s paper” because it includes sports, cartoons and Batman and that we should include more of fashion and something. First I would like to ask you if you´re saying that sports, cartoons and Batman are just for boys (which is kind of sexist of you), because I know quite a few girls who are interested in all of those things. I would also like to point out that more than half of our editorial team are girls. Secondly, we do appreciate your suggestion on having more about fashion, but since we are so few writing the paper and none of us have a particular interest in fashion, so it would be pretty hard for us to write anything good. You say we might need to cut down on the basketball and we sort of agree. We will try to have more variety in our sport articles. You also said that we should have fewer articles about cartoons, which I think is pretty strange because we literally had one article about Frozen and it contained 21 words. And that is it. So if anything we need more about cartoons. P.s. Thanks for the comment about the animal jokes. I worked hard on that one.

We just read you school paper and we think its great ! But we think that people want more images of the 7th and 8th graders. We also want more jokes and fun facts. We want more of sports like MMA,soccer, handball, and dance. We also want to read embarising storys of you and your friends. We like the batman history and the cake recepies. About the Frozen fact we think that the movie is pretty good for kids and kids take it pretty seriusly. best wishes: Embla Ýr, Nikolína, and Ylfa Hrönn. —————————————————————-Hello Embla, Nikólína and Ylfa, Thank you for reading the paper and we‘re glad that you liked it and thank you for the wishes. We have gotten many requests about images of 7 and 8th graders and we will think about doing that. I‘m not quite sure if our friends will want to share with the school about their personal embarrassing stories; I know I wouldn‘t, would you? Sincerely, Dröfn

I thought I needed more of Frozen and Shrek. The paper was good. Sincerely Finnbogi 9-A —————————————-Hi Finnbogi We´re glad you liked the paper. We have written a special Shrek review just for you.

Hi.

Hi Þórunn

The pages with Frozen and the cake recipes was very good and the cakes looked very delicious. The animal jokes were also fun. We don‘t have much interest in movies and tv shows so we thought those pages not that exciting. But over all the paper was fine but it could be a little longer. Best regards, Ágústa Bergrós and Laufey J —————————————————————————— Hi Ágústa and Laufey, Thank you for reading the paper and we‘re glad that you liked it. We are on the other hand sorry that you didn‘t find the pages about the movies and tv shows that interesting or exciting; we can‘t please everyone. We‘re also sorry that the paper was too short in your opinion, but since we were really short on staff, we couldn‘t make it longer but we will try to make it longer this time. Sincerely, Dröfn

-Tara Sveinsdóttir ————————————————————————— Hi Tara, I‘m really sorry to say that this isn‘t Séð og Heyrt. We don‘t think it‘s necessary to spread around gossip about people. We mainly write our interest in the paper and none of us has a really big interest in fashion so I‘m also sorry about that. We do appreciate your comment about the TV shows and movies and we will work on that. And I do agree with you Tara, the girls are damm damm dammmmmmmm. Sincerely, Dröfn

Skyrim Skyrim is an action roleplaying video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is the fifth game in The Elder Scrolls video game series. Skyrim was released on November 11th, 2011, for PC, Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. There are three downloadable add-ons that were released. Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn that were repackaged into The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Legendary Edition which was released on June 4th, 2013. Skyrim revolves around the player character‘s efforts to defeat Alduin the World Eater who is a dragon who is supposed to destroy the world. The game was set two hundred years after the events of Oblivion. In the game the player completes quests and develops their character by improving their skills. Skyrim continues the open-world tradition of its predecessors by allowing the player to travel anywhere in the game world whenever he wants, perhaps to ignore or postpone the main storyline indefinitely. I personally love the game because there is so much that can be done, side-quests and the main storyline, even just exploring the mountains and killing dragons is a blast. I like the game because I can choose exactly what I want to do with my character, like become a mad mage that is also a cat, or to be more specific, a khajiit. I could also choose to be a jolly Argonian, which is a lizard type of creature, that runs around with a huge axe and kicks butt. I could also choose to be a Nord, a human, which is boring. Humans suck.

Solar eclipse of March 20th, 2015 A solar eclipse is when the moon passes between the Earth and the Sun, thereby blocking the sun from the view of someone on Earth. The moon’s apparent diameter is larger than the Sun’s, so it would be blocking all sunlight, turning the day into darkness. The longest duration of the solar eclipse will be 2 minutes and 47 seconds off the coast of the Faroe Islands. This is the last total solar eclipse visible in Europe until the eclipse of August 12th, 2026. Here’s a bit that a Christian wrote shortly before the eclipse

THE WORLD IS COMING TO AN END!!!!!!! –christians This is the way the world ends; not with a bang but an eclipse. Or so some Christian ministers have said. Many on the internet are worried that Friday’s solar eclipse is a sign of the end times, or a message of judgement from God. And while the theories are largely speculative, they are encouraged by a genuine collision of three rare and significant celestial events on Friday.

Personally, I thought the solar eclipse was really cool to experience and many others agree with my opinion but it was a shame that plenty of people didn’t bother looking at it or acknowledging how beautiful it really was. I wish more people could look into space and see

Tom DeLonge leaves Blink-182 Tom leaves Blink-182 once again! The group‘s two remaining band members, Markus Hopper and Travis Barker have spoken about his „indefinite“ absence. They released on January 26th that Tom had left the band but Tom explained on instagram: „To all the fans, I never quit the band. I actually was on a phone call about a Blink182 event for New York City at the time all these weird press releases started coming in … Apparently those releases were sanctioned from the band. Are we dysfunctional – yes. But, Christ …“ The band booked January 5th to og into the studio, on December 30th they got en email from Tom‘s manager saying that he has no interest in recording and that he wants to do his other non-musical stuff and that he‘s out indefinitely. His manager sends another email saying „Tom. Is. Out.“ The remaining band members weren‘t in total shock, as it has happened before in 2004 where they had recieved the exact same email when Tom went on indefinite hiatus. Markus said that he wasn‘t that surprised because his attitude lead up to that had been not excited and not interested. Blink was supposed to start recording a new album two years ago and then it was, „We need a record deal“ because it was relayed to them that Tom didn‘t want to spend his own money going forward.

a book review “You are not a beautiful and unique snowflake. You are the same decaying organic matter as everyone else, and we are all a part of the same compost pile. -Tyler Durden Fight Club is a novel written by Chuck Palahniuk in 1996. Chuck Palahniuk is an American writer born in 1962. He has written 19 books, including Invisible Monsters, Choke, Survivor and his most famous work, Fight Club. Fight Club was originally a short story he wrote after his second novel, Invisible Monsters was rejected by publishers due to its dark and disturbing content. Then he wrote a seven page short story called Fight Club, intending it to be more disturbing than his previous book, but the publishers liked the story and it was featured in the short story compilation Pursuit of Happiness. Chuck was actually so pleased with his story that he decided to write a full length novel. His short story ended up being chapter 6 in the book. Fight Club is about an unnamed insomniac office worker looking for a way to change his life. He crosses paths with a slightly mad soap maker called Tyler Durden. Together they form an underground fight club where average men get to release their violent urges. Fight club soon evolves into something so much more as Tyler and the Narrator along with the most devoted fight club members form "Project Mayhem", a cult-like organization that trains itself as an army to bring down modern civilization. Thumbs up: I have to say that Fight Club is by far one of the best books I have read. I have been a huge fan of the feature film directed by David Fincher for a long time and I have always wanted to read the book. But the book is pretty hard to come across, so when I saw the book a while ago I bought it immediately. And I was not disappointed. Fight Club is beautifully written, has an interesting and clever story, unique and fascinating characters and a really dark sense of humour which I really like.

The book has very few characters, actually so few we only know about four of the characters names, which is very different from most books I’ve read that are overcrowded by unnecessary secondary characters. The main character is supposed to represent the average Joe and because we don´t even know what his name is makes easier to relate to the character. The book is written expertly from his perspective (hence the title The Narrator) and he has a lot to say about the world, especially about consumerism, religion and modern day America saying that “Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes. Working jobs we hate, so we can buy shit we don’t need.” The anti-consumerism message of the book is handled very well, and it never feels like the author is trying to force it on you. Thumbs down: Fight Club is not for everyone. Even though I thought this was a great book I would not recommend it to sensitive people. This book includes some graphic description of violence, heavy swearing, and some sexual content, mentions of drugs, terrorism and even cooking of human fat. Even though these might things sound very disturbing some of them are darkly comedic. The book is also sometimes written in a way that it is hard to follow what is going on and it sometimes jumps from one place to another very quickly. Overall rating: If I had to rate Fight Club I would give it 9.5/10. I realize it´s not everyone’s cup of tea but I thought it was amazing. I am not sure if I would have liked the book as much I do if I hadn´t seen the 1999 movie (which is one of my favourites of all time). But even if I hadn’t I’m still pretty sure I could say that it is one of the best books I have read in a long time. Hugi Ólafsson 10-L

The Gods Must Be Crazy 2 was published in 1989 and was directed by Jamie Uys, he has made 25 movies in total and has gotten three prizes. The picture was nominated for Worst Picture at the Hasting Bad Cinema Society’s 12th Stinkers Bad Movie Awards in 1989. Before Jamie went to directing movies he was a mathematics teacher in Boksburg. He married Hettie, a fellow mathematics teacher. Jamie died at the age of 74, year 1996.

N!xau is a San from the Kalahari Desert. He was the lead role in the movie. He only received only a few hundred dollars for his work in that film but was astute enough to negotiate for over half a million for his appearance in the sequel. He reportedly suffered from tuberculosis during his life and in early July 2003, Namibian officials based in the remote area of the Kalahari where N!xau lived, confirmed his death, though the exact cause of death was unknown. He was estimated to be 59 years old when he died, as N!xau himself was not sure of his birthdate.

Lena Farugia was casted with the role Ann Taylor. Lena was born and raised in New York and studied at Thomas Moore College, Fordham and Columbia University. She started her professional career in New York, but then she got married to a South African filmmaker and moved to South Africa where she has grown and made a professional career as an actress, writer, director and producer on Movie and Television projects.

Other actors were Hans Strydom as Dr. Stephen Marshall, Eiros as Xiri, and Nadies as Xisa. But because of lack of information we couldn’t write anything about them, as they are not as known as Lena and N!xau.

The Gods Must Be Crazy is about a man named Xixo who is trying to find his lost children, whose names are Xiri and Xisa. They found a truck which two elephant poachers were travelling on. They were curious about their vehicle so they climbed into the water tank trailer and are taken for a ride.

A young lawyer named Ann Taylor arrives at a bush clinic to participate in a lecture. She agrees to go with a young man on a joyride in his two-seated twin engine ultralight aircraft. They go to see the scientist Dr. Stephen Marshall who exchanges places but the plane crashes, stranding them both in the middle of Kalahari desert. There is a war going on so along the way they find a lost Cuban soldier, called Mateo and his Angolan enemy, Timi, who repeatedly attempt to take each other prisoner.

**WARNING SPOILERS** At some point in the movie all the persons cross paths with Xixo and his children. In the end the poachers capture Xixo, Taylor, Marshall and the two soldiers. Xixo helps them escape and saves them. One of the poachers, who is in fact a pretty chill dude that is bossed around a lot by his boss, gives Xixo directions to his children. The boss is captured, both soldiers come to somewhat of an agreement to make peace without further violence. Taylor and Marshall return to civilization, almost crashing the plane and then dramatically ending the movie with a big fat kiss. Xixo and his family are reunited and everyone is happy.

Editors Thoughts

I thought the movie was weird and there wasn’t that much of a plot in the whole story. Everything went as expected and it got boring at times, though it was alright since it was so badly made that it made me laugh. -Andrea Birta

The movie does have a lot of flaws. It is often poorly shot, the actors aren’t always very convincing, the movie has little plot and the fact that they often just fast-forward footage to make it look like something is happening fast can get irritating. However, I really liked this movie. I

Skólahreysti 2015 This great competition is held every year where teenagers in 9th and 10th grade from almost every school in the country compete by showing their athletics abilities. By showing their strength and speed the contestants have 5 different challenges. The girls compete at push-ups and at hanging, where they hang on a bar as long as they can. Then the boys are competing at pull ups and also at dips. Then finally the fifth and the final challenge is called “Speedcircle.” In the “Speedcircle”, a boy and a girl from the same school compete as a pair where they go through sort of a Boot camp and the time is their opponent. So that´s actually how Skólahreysti works, but how and who invented it? In 2005 the couple, Andrés Guðmundsson and Lára B. Helgadóttir, invented this great competition and they had in mind that it would motivate kids to stay in sports and to let them try out new and exciting exercises where they use their own body weight. Only six schools competed the first time the tournament was held in 2005, but after that year, when both parents and students saw all the excitement and the health that followed the competition, it became much more popular. Last year exactly 134 schools were invited to participate and 110 schools confirmed their arrival. And in 2009, Skólahreysti got a lot of attention from Iceland where 49% of the nation were watching the competition, whether it was on television or live where it was held. The same year about 660 teenagers participated in Skólahreysti and one of those contestants, named Eyþór Ingi Júlíusson (Myllurbakkaskóli), broke a record in pull-ups and took 58 pull-ups, which is quite an impressive performance. So 2009 was quite a big year for the organization of Skólahreysti. But speaking of records, other amazing records have been made in the history of Skólahreysti. Jóhanna Júlía Júlíusdóttir (Myllubakkaskóli) broke the record in push-ups in 2012 where she took exactly 177 push-ups. The same year, Elva Lísa Sveinsdóttir (Njarðvíkurskóli), hung for 11 minutes and 8 seconds and since then no girl has been very near to beating her record. The year before, a little guy named Valgarð Reynardsson (Lindaskóli), took amazingly 83 dips and was a big surprise. Last but not least, Kjartan Elvar Balvinsson and Telma Þrastardóttir hold the record in the “Speedcircle” where they had the time of 2 minutes and 5 seconds. But in 2013, Ernir Jónsson and Hildur Karen Jónsdóttir were the contestants for our school in the “Speedcircle” and were so close to breaking the record with the time of 2 minutes and 14 seconds. So close! But I´m sure (and know that you will agree) that some day our school will step up and break some record, I´m sure of it! This year’s competition (2015) was very exciting and fun to watch despite that we didn´t make it to the finals which of course all right because it´s just fun to be a part of the competition. We took the 4 th place but we only needed very few points to get to the 3rd place. Valhúsaskóli was the winner of those semi-finals so they are going to the finals this year. But taking the 4th place is not bad at all where our school fought very hard and didn´t give up. Our great contestants this year were: Júlíus Þór Árnason and Ásta Sigurðardóttir (“Speedcircle”), Margrét Hlín Harðardóttir (Push-ups and Hanging), and Birgir Valur Birgisson (Pull ups and Dips). Those superheroes did great and everyone enjoyed watching their great talents. But I was always more curious about their experience while the competed and what they had to say about Skólahreysti. So I took a little interview with all of them and asked them some fun and interesting questions.

Questions 1.How did you feel when it was your turn to compete? 2.Were you afraid of doing a mistake? 3.Did the audience make any impression on you? 4.How did you practice for Skólahreysti? 5.Do you thank that you did well as a person? 6.What was the most enjoyable thing about the competition? Do you recommend for other students in Laugalækjarskóli to compete in Skólahreysti? Why? Why not?

Júlíus Þór Árnason: I was much stressed but otherwise I felt pretty good, but there was a time where I sensed some butterflies in my stomach. I was most afraid of failing to climb the “monkeystairs” and the tower that I did accidentally afterwards (climbing the tower) and that´s the reason why we ended up in the fourth seed. The crowds in the arena were very pumped up and the grandstand was really powerful, then I felt that I needed to put on a show! In 9th grade I practiced a lot for Skólahreysti but then later on I started to decrease some of my practice. There was a subject in school that involved practicing for Skólahreysti. I practiced in school sports and also outside of school. As a person I thought that I did really good accept for my mistakes that made an impression on me and my team. I saw it on Skólahreysti.is that of all the boys that competed in the “Speedcircle” I was on the best time so I´m basically very proud of my success. The most enjoyable thing about competing in Skólahreysti was to be a part of it and it was also a lot fun to get to know the other contestants. It was also very fun and alluring to show all the people my strength and what lives inside of me and also to be on TV. Of all my heart I would recommend for everyone to be a part of Skólahreysti because it´s a big experience and also a lot of fun. There also a lot of athletes in our school so I´m very optimistic to see our next year’s fresh and new Skólahreystis team. Ásta Sigurðardóttir: I was really stressed but also very excited. Yes I was very afraid of doing a mistake, especially where I was competing in front of a full house of audience, but I just thought of doing my best. The audience had very good impression on me, I always do something better when I get motivated so it helped me a lot. I was with my Skólahreysti-group in World Class, practicing gymnastics where I also practiced my strength and stamina. Yes, I´m very satisfied about my performance but what I could have done better is for example to lift the ball in a right way. But you always learn from your experience. It was to get the opportunity to be a part of something that I liked (sports) for behalf of my school and to compete in fun events. I´m a person with a lot of competitiveness inside of me so it´s always fun for me to compete. Yes without a doubt, very fun experience and very fun but challenging competition!

Questions Part 2 Birgir Valur Birgisson: I was not that stressed but very excited. I was a little bit afraid of being null and void that ended up being the truth. I didn´t notice the audience while I was competing but before I noticed it and got pumped up and motivated. After most practices in gymnastics I did a one round of dips and pull-ups. I didn´t think that I did my best in dips because my referee was very strict and didn´t count as many as I took because they were null and void. There were few fun practices with my Skólahreysti-group, but most fun of all was to teach Júlíus Þór how to climb the rope. Yes I recommend it, doesn´t matter if you make the team or not, this subject in school and competition is fun and a good exercise. Margrét Hlín Harðardóttir: When it was my turn to compete in Skólahreysti I was really stressed but also excited. Before I competed I thought a lot about if I would fail and not experience the feeling of reaching the goal that I´d hoped for. I was afraid of if I would fail then I would devastate the school and people´s opinion of me wouldn´t be as high as it had been (because I didn´t do well enough). But basically is Skólahreysti only about doing your best and to infect your teammates by having a positive mindset. So when it was up to me to compete, I felt all the support that I got from my teammates and other schoolmates in the audience that helped me to calm down and get rid of the stress. I stopped thinking if I would fail and just focused on that whatever I did, it would give our school some points. You don´t have to be the best in everything, what actually matters is to do your best. There were a lot of noise in the arena and it helped me to get on the right page and to focus on what I was doing. Everyone is watching, which is very stressful but also fun, and that lights up the battle spirit. You always try to do a little better than usual because of the audience. A week before the competition we go the information’s about who was going to compete and what challenge each person was going to tackle. After that I started to do a push-up workout every single day that I had downloaded in to my phone. I borrowed a push- up rod from the school and did push-ups on it. I practiced to hang most part in school because the facilities at home weren’t that good. Sometimes I practiced to hang on the railing in the stairwell at home if I thought that I didn´t do that much at school. I think that I did all right in the competition; I wasn´t among the best and I wasn´t among the worst. My success wasn´t something to shout “hurray” about and I´d done much better on my practices for Skólahreysti. But I didn´t think too much about and instead tried to motivate my teammates so they would do an extra good job. The most enjoyable thing about Skólahreysti was without a doubt the team spirit. You get to know your teammates better and you´re a part of motivating your partners to do their best and keep up the good temper and the positivity. But it´s also a lot of fun to compete. To compete for your school follows a certain recognition that strengthens your self-confidence and for an energetic person like me, is it one of the most fun things to compete in this competition. It´s an experience of life that will end the rest of my life that I have been a competitor in Skólahreysti. This experience was a mix of vehemence, battle spirit, solidarity, happiness and sorrow. I recommend this competition for everyone because it is one of the most fun things that you do in elementary school and it helps to build up your self-confidence and to meet new people!

(From Guðjón Hlynur) AMEN!

Stuck In A Maze The Maze Runner is the first book in the science fiction trilogy by James Dashner. The book was published on October 6, 2009, and the movie came out realease on September 19, 2014. The sequel to the movie, The Maze Runner: Scorch Trials is set to be released on September 18, 2015. Thomas and many other boys are put one by one every month in a community with no memory of their * life. Thomas was the last boy that was sent up and * soon learned that they're all trapped in a maze, and he ends up getting to do what he wanted, to be a runner (best to explain what a runner is) and find out how he can get everyone home but it doesn't go how he imagined it would. Dylan O’brien was the person that scored the main role in the movie, Thomas. In the movie Thomas is a very brave boy and you could say fights for what he wants . He was mostly known for his role as Stiles Stilinski on Teen Wolf, Stuart on The Internship and Dave on The First Time. Ki Hong Lee scored what I would say the 2nd most important role as Minho, Minho is the main runner in the movie. Before the movie he was mostly known for his role as Paul on the tv series The Nine Lives Of Chloe King but it was cancelled after only one season due to the lack of audience. Thomas Brodie-Sangster was cast as Newt, Newt was the 2nd leader of the boys, he was a really good guy and he was a very likeable guy. Thomas’s first big role was in a movie named Nanny McPhee personally one of the best movies of my childhood I never get tired of watching it . He is also the voice of Ferb on the hit cartoon/tv show Phineas and Ferb on Disney Channel. Kaya Scodelario, the only girl in the movie, got the role of Teresa. Teresa was the only girl and last person to be sent up to the maze, //when she got there the only person she knew the name of was Thomas but she didn't remember knowing him. Kaya hasn't really got any hit movie but I did know who she was and I really like her because of the British TV series Skins in which she plays Effy, a very troubled teenager and that really shows she is a very good actress. And of course in every movie there has to be a bad guy in this one the person that got the honour was Will Pouter. Will Pouter is mostly famous for his role in the hit movie We are The Millers in which he got to kiss Jennifer Aniston and Emma Roberts. I can safely say this is one of my favourite movies, I haven't read the book but what really made me want to watch this movie was the cast //I really like most of the actors and actress in this movie //if I could give the cast a score it would be 11/10 they did a really good job. The storyline was very exciting and kept you interested most of the time and funny at some times. Overall I would really recommend watching this movie and for all the people who like books, go ahead and read all of the 3 books I really doubt they aren’t going to be good. I would give this movie 4.5/5 stars.
