big wins great performances spectacular plays Louisiana Tech’s football program has experienced numerous highs during the course of its 100-plus year history, claiming 23 conference titles, numerous bowl berths and a plethora of All-Americans and NFL players. From the very first win in the program’s history (a 6-0 victory over LSU in 1904) to winning the 2008 Independence Bowl title, Louisiana Tech football has always made its fans proud. And since making the move from I-AA to I-A in 1989, Louisiana Tech has proven time after time it belongs among the big boys of college football defeating the likes of Alabama (twice), Michigan State, Oklahoma State, Mississippi State (twice), Ole Miss and California since the mid 90s. From big wins to great performances to spectacular plays, Louisiana Tech football has always shown the heart of a champion.
