An intimate ceremony for just the two of you in our private Lodge Suite, set within our tranquil hotel gardens, creates the perfect scene for your wedding, all year round. Choose from 3 package options - Simply, Ultimate or the Lake District experience:

package includes the Ultimate package plus: • Two further nights creating a perfect 4 night mini moon • Mini spa day for the both of you, where you can enjoy a two course lunch and 1 hour AVEDA spa treatment each • Complete the day with private use of the pool at twilight • We will chauffeur you to and from your chosen Lake District restaurant (meal cost not included)

Your intimate ceremony will take place in our Oak Room. Picture your wedding in the traditional surroundings of a 17th century coaching inn, with its original oak panelling, open fire and stained glass windows, while saying your vows overlooking the breath-taking view of Lake Windermere. A drinks reception by the water’s edge will follow, either on our Lakeside lawn or in our conservatory if weather permits. Relax and enjoy time with your guests; maybe experience a cruise together whilst our professional team prepare for your wedding breakfast.

We work closely with Windermere Lake Cruises for private circular cruises to provide the perfect way to relax after your ceremony or a break after your wedding breakfast. Let off steam How about something different and have a ride on Haverthwaite Steam Train, travel back in time when you climb aboard, it’s a unique experience for all.
Spa treatment Unwind and relax in our AVEDA Spa before the big day with our tailored spa packages for the bride, groom and the bridal party. His ‘n’ Hers the night before Welcome friends and family the night before and enjoy a meal together.
