A SPECIAL KEEPSAKE EDITION FOR GRADUATES, THEIR FAMILIES AND FRIENDS

Congratulations Class of 2014! An Open Letter to the Hillsborough County Class of 2014 Dear Graduates,

I

want to congratulate all of you for reaching this wonderful milestone in your life. Graduating from high school is a memory we all cherish and one you should be proud of. You have accomplished so much and have put in countless hours of hard work over the last 12 years. I’ve enjoyed hearing about many of your achievements this year. It is truly remarkable to see the caliber of students that have graced the halls of our schools. You are an amazing group of talented, smart, and motivated students. Whether you move on to college, the workforce, or to the military, you have already reached a milestone in your life. This is the time to reflect on your successes and prepare for the future that awaits you.

It is also the time to thank those who have been instrumental in getting you to this point. There will be one teacher or maybe several teachers, who you will remember years from now, as the one who made a difference in your life.We also need our families and our friends to stand beside us. When you look back on high school, I hope you think of the friends you’ve made, the skills you’ve learned, and the encouragement your teachers have given you, to be your best. Keep working as hard as you can. Good luck and it is now time to celebrate! Congratulations to the Class of 2014.
