Percussion Camp Beginning and intermediate percussion students, this class was designed for you! Improve performance skills that relate directly to the positive experiences of playing in a large ensemble. The instructor brings his experience of being a member of the All City Band in Chicago, EIU marching band, and other ensembles. A concert in the Luther Student Center will be held the last hour of class. Cost of class includes a pair of drum sticks and a small percussion instrument to take home. Kids n Clay Have some fun with clay in this handson class. Children will learn handbuilding techniques such as pinch and coil and then apply the techniques learned to a main project, which will all be fired. What’s Next? Boys and girls spend each morning this week exploring art, cooking and science. Mrs. Anderson, an Illinois certified teacher, designed this for you. You will have the opportunity to use your creative nature with other budding artists. Try your hand at watercolor, card making, floral design, jewelry design and more. You will also be a chef and create delicious treats without cooking. Recipes include fruit spears, ham roll-ups, bug cookies and other surprises.
