It is important to shift the focus from solely behavioral compliance to skill development in trauma-informed present level statements. Additionally, identifying trauma-informed accommodations and recommending appropriate interventions ensures that the support provided is sensitive to the student's experiences. Moreover, fostering family engagement and building trust during the IEP development process are key components of creating a supportive and collaborative environment for the student's overall well-being and academic success.
