Ramonans raise $2,500 for equine charity For the fourth consecutive year, a charity event in Ramona has raised thousands of dollars to assist the rescue, rehabilitation and adoptive placement of neglected or abused horses in San Diego County. The event, Christmas Armageddon, organized by Casey and Tifany Markee, was held in the San Diego

Items included tickets to the Chargers versus Chiefs game on Dec. 29, wine tours, catered dinners, tickets to Disneyland and other local attractions, and much more. largest horse rescue and rehabilitation program in San Diego County and is entirely dependent on private donations to keep their doors open,” said Tifany Markee. “In 2013 Falcon Ridge rescued 44 horses. Twenty-four horses came from animal control abuse or neglect referrals and 20 horses came from
