ET VOILÀ by DANIELE LAGO Et Voilà è un nuovo sistema di storage nato dalla voglia di rivedere il paradigma del contenere, domestico e non, e introdurre nuove modalità di fruizione del mobile. Un tessuto teso chiude un volume facendo perdere completamente la percezione delle ante. Sembra quasi una scatola magica, dove la superficie indefinita dà a chi la guarda un senso di straniamento. Le classiche ante in laccato e vetro sono sparite e al loro posto trova spazio un’unica anta in tessuto, lunga quanto tutta la struttura. Estremamente personalizzabile, Et Voilà è trasversale ad ogni ambiente della casa (zona notte – zona giorno – cucina – living – studio – camere – camerette – bagno). Sospendibile a parete. Et Voilà is a new storage system born from the desire to revise the container paradigm, domestic and otherwise, and introduce new ways for making the most of furniture. A taut piece of fabric encloses and creates a space, completely eliminating the perception of shutters. It almost seems like a magic box, where the undefined surface produces a sense of estrangement in whoever is looking at it. The classic shutters in paint and glass have disappeared and in their place one finds a single shutter, as long as the whole of the structure. Extremely personalizable, Et Voilà works in every room of the house (night–time area – daytime area – kitchen – living room – study – bedroom – children’s room – bath). Can be mounted on the wall.

REPLIS by DANIELE LAGO Il concept di Replis nasce dall’idea di un tessuto che lavora come la pelle umana che si distende e si accorcia. Un particolare meccanismo interno consente, infatti, di allungare e accorciare sia la seduta che lo schienale. Lo schienale può essere reclinato all’indietro sino a diventare orizzontale e trasformare Replis in un letto per una notte. The concept for Replis was born from the idea of a fabric that functions like a human skin that one can stretch and shorten. A special internal mechanism makes it possible to lengthen and shorten both the seat and the back rest. The back rest can in fact be reclined all the way to a horizontal position, transforming Replis into a bed for the night.

There is a story behind every object. Lago School Collection was born from the desire to recall the unforgettable moments in our lives, ones that form a part of the history of each and every one of us, like the first day of school. The collection revisits three classics of scholastic furnishing – a desk, a seat and a chalkboard – which Lago brings back to life with new colours and new materials.

design by LAGOSTUDIO NEW PRODUCT 2011 Lagostudio è il laboratorio creativo di Lago dove, ogni anno, vengono organizzati workshop e vengono invitati universitari e designer provenienti dalle migliori scuole internazionali di design. Con il Lagostudio, Lago di fatto costruisce una potenza creativa che rivede i consueti paradigmi di relazione tra designer e azienda. Lago crede che l’innovazione passi attraverso menti fresche e non contaminate, meglio ancora se provenienti da altre realtà culturali. Dal Lagostudio escono, quest’anno, sei nuovi prodotti. Lagostudio is Lago creative lab, where workshops are organized every year and students are invited from the best international design schools. With Lagostudio, Lago build up a creative power that change the usual relational paradigms between designer and enterprise. Lago believes that innovation passes through fresh and uncontaminated minds, and better still when coming from other cultural realities. Six products, conceived at Lagostudio, will be presented this year.

LASTIKA by VELICHKO VELIKOV/LAGOSTUDIO Lastika assomiglia a una margherita. Sedendovi, verrete accolti dai quaranta elastici che costituiscono la seduta e avrete la sensazione di ondeggiare, nonostante la struttura della sedia sia comunque molto stabile. È una sedia divertente e confortevole, molto leggera e... impilabile! Lastika resembles a flower, in fact a daisy. When you sit in it, you are supported by forty elastics that make up the seat and create a rocking sensation, although the structure of the seat is in fact very stable. It is a fun and comfortable seat, very lightweight and… stackable!

DANGLA by LUCA DE BONA/LAGOSTUDIO Un profilo metallico sottile e affusolato disegna gambe, seduta e schienale di una sedia che ama farsi cucire gli abiti addosso. Dangla alterna sensazioni contrastanti: attrae per la sua linea rigorosa, seduce per i suoi abiti succinti, accoglie dondolando. Tessuto disponibile in tre versioni: liscio, arricciato, con zip. A thin and tapered metal profile makes up the legs, seat and back rest of a chair that likes its clothes to fit like a glove. Dangla alternates between contrasting sensations: attractive for its rigorous lines, seductive for its scanty clothing, it invites swinging. Three types of fabric are available: smooth, crinkly or zippered.

CURLY by VELICHKO VELIKOV/LAGOSTUDIO Curly è una sedia che sfrutta la resistenza del tessuto per la seduta. Il telaio è ridotto, non ci sono braccioli, né schienale e tutto il peso del corpo viene sopportato dal tessuto che è estremamente resistente. Perfetta per esterni nella versione in tessuto canvas. Curly is a chair that takes advantage of the resistance of fabric for its seat. The frame is reduced, there are neither arms nor a back rest and the weight of the body is supported by its extremely resistant fabric. The canvas version is perfect for outdoor use.

BUMP by JOAQUIM ROQUÉ/LAGOSTUDIO La poltroncina Bump nasce da una combinazione molto semplice: una sfera incastrata in un cilindro vuoto. È una sedia che cambia il concetto di equilibrio. Una volta seduti la stabilità è assicurata, ma quando ci si alza la sedia rimane un po’ sghemba, in equilibrio precario. The Bump armchair is based on a very simple combination: a sphere set into an empty cylinder. It is a chair that changes the concept of equilibrium. Once you are seated, its stability is guaranteed. But when you stand up, the seat remains a bit lopsided, in precarious equilibrium.

TRESTLE by IAN HOWLETT/LAGOSTUDIO Trestle è un tavolo allungabile che ribalta il concetto di prolunga. Le prolunghe sono spesso nascoste, mentre in Trestle sono le prolunghe stesse a sorreggere il tavolo. L’apertura è molto semplice. Trestle is an extendable table that overturns the concept of elongation. Table extensions are usually hidden, whereas in Trestle the table is supported by the extensions themselves. Opening it up is very simple.

NURBS by JORDI CANUDAS, SHAI AKRAM, ANDREW HAYTHORNTHWAITE/LAGOSTUDIO in collaboration with GORTAN TECH LAB Trattando il materiale monolastra Corian come una superficie tridimensionale che può essere manipolata su punti specifici (nurbs), nasce una sedia che si inserisce sia nel contesto dell’interior domestico che in quello dell’outdoor. This chair takes form by treating the Corian sheet material as a three-dimensional surface that can be manipulated on specific points (nurbs). It fits into both domestic interior and outdoor life.

CHAMA by MI JIN PARK/LAGOSTUDIO Chama prende vita da un futon e dei cuscini. Il materasso può essere piegato o disteso e a seconda della necessità Chama si trasforma in divano e letto matrimoniale o poltrona e letto singolo. Può diventare anche una comoda chaise longue a terra. Chama takes its cue from cushions and a futon. The mattress can be folded or laid flat, and according to need Chama transforms into a sofa and a double bed or an armchair and a single bed. It can also be used as a comfy chaise longue on the floor.

N.O.W. SMART by DANIELE LAGO Rivisitazione dell’armadio N.O.W. ad anta battente. Nella versione Smart, N.O.W. si presenta in laccato. Le dimensioni delle fasce di legno laccato sono più importanti, rispetto alla versione classica, ottenendo nella complessità una riduzione sensibile dei costi. A revisitation of the N.O.W. wardrobe with hinged doors. In the Smart version, N.O.W. is painted. The dimensions of the painted wooden panels are larger than those of the classic version, leading to a notable overall reduction in costs.

Diamond le fasce esterne delle ante sono inclinate verso l’interno. Questa soluzione conferisce maggior leggerenza ed eleganza all’armadio N.O.W. N.O.W. Diamond is the natural extension of the classic sliding N.O.W. wardrobe. In the new N.O.W. Diamond wardrobe, the external panels of the shutters are inclined towards the interior. This solution bestows greater lightness and elegance to the N.O.W. wardrobe.

STILETTO by DANIELE LAGO Stiletto è un letto leggero come un tappeto volante. Una morbida fettuccia in tessuto scorre lungo tutto il perimetro del letto. Un’elegante cucitura a zig zag dettaglia la finitura della testiera, mentre le gambe possono essere rivestite dello stesso tessuto del letto. Stiletto is a bed as light as a flying carpet. A soft fabric binding runs along the entire bed perimeter. Elegant zig zag stitching adds a finishing touch to the headboard, while the ash wood legs can be covered in the same fabric as the bed.

KUSSIN by DANIELE LAGO Kussin è un letto semplice, morbido, accogliente. Un vano ricavato tra il materasso e una piccola testiera accoglie due grandi cuscini semplicemente appoggiati. Grazie a questa sua semplicità , Kussin è un letto economicamente competitivo. Kussin is a simple, soft and welcoming bed. A hollow created between the mattress and the small headboard hosts two oversized pillows, simply arranged. Thanks to this simplicity, Kussin is a competitively priced bed.

NEW AIR by DANIELE LAGO Il Letto New AIR riprende il concept del Divano AIR: elementi come schienali, sedute e librerie vengono integrati alla struttura e possono essere configurati a piacimento. Gli schienali vanno a costituire la testiera del letto, la libreria può correre lungo tutto il perimetro del letto. The New AIR Bed picks up the concept behind the AIR Sofa: elements like back rests, seats and shelving are integrated into the structure and can be configured however you wish. The back rests make up the head board, and the shelving can be made to run along the entire perimeter of the bed.

SLIDE RUG by DANIELE LAGO L’idea alla base del concept è un rettangolo tagliato in due da una diagonale che genera due trapezi rettangoli che, combinati fra di loro in modalità diverse, generano moltissime configurazioni. The concept is founded on the idea of a rectangle cut in two by a diagonal that generates two rectangular trapezoids which can be combined in myriad ways to generate a real multiplicity of configurations.

36e8 RUG by DANIELE LAGO 36e8 Rug è un tappeto che nel concept riprende i moduli del 36e8 Lago. I moduli sono configurabili a piacimento, in verticale, in orizzontale e in obliquo. Vengono agganciati fra di loro tramite un sistema di giunzione che sfrutta il velcro. The concept of the 36e8 Rug picks up on that of the 36e8 Lago modules.The modules can be configured as you wish, vertically, horizontally and diagonally.They are attached to one another through a Velcro system.
