10 years
We needed a word that made us think of floating through powder, launching a method, and ripping a fart, all at once. Laughter… we needed a name that made us laugh. We were sitting in Travis Parker’s basement brainstorming a name for our imaginary company. We imagined a company that would make the absolute best snowboard gear for our friends. How? By designing every piece of product with and for our friends. We imagined a company that would inject the snowboard world with a serious jolt of fun from which it would never fully recover. We imagined Airblaster. That was ten years ago.
Ten years is a long time. In snowboard terms, ten years is roughly from Robot Food’s Afterbang all the way through the latest Videograss movie. For Airblaster, it has been a journey from Leashes and SARS through Leg Bags, Ninja Suits, MILF technology and Sasquatch, to Freedom Suits, and now back to Sasquatch again. We are still here, still having fun and inviting you to join. Not only are we here to stay... We are here to Stay Wild! Perhaps most importantly, we are here to continue to invent, test, tweak, and bring to market the best Original Fun Product on the planet. Airblaster exists as a living organism whose purpose remains to make the best snowboard gear for our friends, and to continually reinvent the meaning and manifestation of having fun on a snowboard. The heart, brain, limbs, and spirit of the Airblaster animal are made up of the people who contribute their vision and hard work to Airblaster: Our team, employees, friends, family, shops, and most importantly our customers. To you we say, thank you. Without your support, there would be no such company called Airblaster. Because of you, a company called Airblaster does exist.

The products on the following pages represents the culmination of ten years of experience building gear that keeps you warm, dry, happy, and most importantly, snowboarding with a smile on your face. THE BEst long underwear on the planet
There is no competition. Nothing as functional. Nothing as fun. Period. The Ninja Suit is the best long underwear on the planet. Just as there was a time before Airblaster, so was there a time before the Ninja Suit. It was dark time in human history, to say the least. Imagine all the snow that went down people’s pants! Remember snow-burn on your waist? Ouch. And snow down your back neck? The worst. And the drafts… not to mention ice cream headaches of the wrist. Then the Ninja Suit came along and shut that shit down. Understand this: Airblaster invented this thing. If you’ve seen or used something similar, chances are it’s a cheesy knockoff of the Ninja Suit, guaranteed not to fit or function half as well as the Ninja Suit. The Ninja Suit is the Bentley of long underwear. Weak copies are like a Chrysler 300. In some photos on the internet, they might bear a slight resemblance. But in person, the original laughs the knockoff out of town. Luckily for you, a Ninja Suit doesn’t cost nearly as much as a Bentley. Originally developed and tested in the Andes of Argentina, the Ninja Suit was intended from the start to be a first-layer force field: A second skin that helps protect you from the elements, wick perspiration from you body, and regulate your temperature to keep you warm, comfortable, and performing at your best. Through eight years of testing, adventuring, hammering, tweaking, and improvement, we are confident that the Ninja Suit is truly the best long underwear on the planet. WATERPROOFING of fabric, in thousands of millimeters. This is a relative measure that indicates the height of a column of water that can be suspended above the fabric before water seeps through. Higher number = more waterproof fabric. BREATHABILITY of fabric, measured in thousands of g/m2/24hrs. This number is a relative measure that indicates the amount of moisture that will pass through one square meter of fabric in 24 hours. Higher number = more breathable.
Seam taping Less expensive
More waterproof
FULLY TAPED indicates that all of the garment’s seams have been taped to prevent moisture from entering at the seams. Fully Taped garments are the most waterproof option. CRITICALLY TAPED indicates that only the most critical seams of the garment have been seam taped. By sealing only critical seams, the end garment is less expensive but still very waterproof for normal use in snow.
Insulation Better breathability
More warmth
INSULATION is measured in grams. Higher number = More insulation. INSULATED jackets provide more core heat retention than shells, and are comparatively warmer. Airblaster Jackets with 60 -150 grams insulation are considered medium insulation. Jackets with more than 150 grams of insulation are considered heavy insulation. SHELL jackets provide maximum breathability. They have no insulation sewn into the jacket, allowing the user to customize the insulation by adding or subtracting layers worn underneath the shell. When combined with effective layering, shell jackets offer maximum versatility in a wide range of temperatures and conditions.

SLIM FIT: Our slimmest fitting jacket, closest to your street-style jacket fit. TAILORED FIT: Not too tight, not too loose… just right. Slightly slimmer than traditional snowboard jackets, Airblaster Tailored Fit jackets have generous length in the arms and body, to keep you covered and looking good. TAILORED LONG: Same fit as above, with additional length in the body. CLASSIC FIT: Traditional snowboard jacket cut with adequate width in the arms and body, for ease of movement and easy layering. Not overly baggy unless you size up.
