I’VE BEEN DREAMING ABOUT THIS CLUB FOR 15 YEARS
Golf & Surf Club
It was the fall of 2007 when I first laid eyes on this magical piece of land. I recently left a career managing over $1 Billion dollars in assets with a desire to create something more; something tangible; something with truly lasting impact. That’s when I set out on this crusade to create the greatest golf club on the greatest untouched piece of land in the world. Now it’s 2022 and my dream—with the help of countless talented people who have joined me over the years—is coming to fruition. The land is secured. The course is designed. The construction plan is completed. And now, we are set to break ground on September 1st. Which brings us to you. A true club is when the sum of its members is greater than the sum of each of us individually. We don’t do anything halfway and that’s especially true when it comes to choosing our members. The founding members create the reputation and culture of the club. We have taken extreme care in the selection and nomination of an extraordinary group of Founders. Join us in creating the greatest club in the world.

THE BEST THE O CEAN HAS TO OFFER, ALL IN ONE PLACE While we’re golfers at our core, the ocean always calls our name. Situated at the tip of a protected natural bay along the west coast of North America, the waters surrounding Punta Brava have seemingly more to offer than anywhere else in the world. Our Surf Club will be chaired by 11x World Champion, Kelly Slater, and led by legendary shaper/big-wave rider, Gary Linden. They’ll guide members to everything from beginner to expert waves throughout the many amazing surf breaks in this remarkable region.

SEE YOU IN THE LINEUP The Ensenada area is a storied and revered place within the surf community, with some of the stars of Endless Summer surfing here starting in the early 1960s. Known as “the Cradle of Surfing in Mexico,” countless worldclass waves have been discovered from beginner to expert skill levels. The jewel of the region is Todos Santos—an uninhabited island just a short boat ride from the tip of Punta Brava. Todos Santos features empty waves of all sizes, including one of the most famous big waves in the world.

BRIAN TUCKER Brian Tucker is an American businessman and real estate developer. Tucker graduated from Wheaton College with a degree in business and economics and he received a master in dispute resolution from Pepperdine Law School before launching his career in finance. While serving as Vice President for Charles Schwab, Tucker discovered a parcel of land hidden at the tip of the peninsula and met Mr. Gonzalez, who had owned the land for nearly 50 years. Although Mr. Gonzalez vowed he would never sell, Tucker was so resolute, he resigned from Charles Schwab to pursue creating what would eventually become Punta Brava Golf & Surf Club. In 2021, 15 years later, Tucker, along with partners Hugo and Ricardo Salinas, purchased the land from Mr. Gonzalez heirs.
RICHARD O SALINAS PLIEGO Ricardo Salinas Pliego is one of the most prominent entrepreneurs in Latin America, was recognized in Forbes list as one of the World’s Richest People as well as Mexico’s third-richest Billionaire 2021. Salinas is the founder and President of Grupo Salinas, a group of some of the most prominent companies in Mexico that specialize in banking, trade, electronic media, telecommunications, content production, and more. The group employs more than 116,000 people across seven countries. Salinas is known for his advocacy towards free trade, government deregulation, foreign investment, and improving the quality of management and information technologies in Mexican companies. Salinas recently stated that he intends to make Banco Azteca the first lender in Mexico to do business in Bitcoin.

Hugo Salinas Sada jump started his entrepreneur journey at the age of 23 when he founded Tiendas Neto. Tiendas Neto focuses on providing non-durable consumer goods for Mexico’s less economically favored population. With more than 1,500 stores in 19 states across the country, they currently provide more than 4 million customers with basic goods weekly. From the start of operation in 2009, Tiendas Neto has had 12 years of solid market growth and now employs more than 10,000 people, positively impacting the communities in which they operate. Like his father, grandfather and great grandfather, Hugo has a passion for the game of golf. But Salinas also has a passion for architecture and real estate, which motivated him to found Origina, an innovative and exclusive real estate development company. And when possible, Salinas has centered his real estate projects around golf. Salinas now also leads the responsibilities for the real-estate projects at Grupo Salinas.
