Coaching Staff Offensive Coaches

• Chuck Long – Offensive Coordinator/Quarterbacks • David Beaty – Co-Offensive Coordinator/Wide Receivers • Reggie Mitchell – Running Backs/Recruiting Coordinator • J.B. Grimes – Offensive Line • Aaron Stamn – Tight Ends/Special Teams • Offensive Coordinator/Quarterbacks Coach Chuck Long has been a head coach at the Division I level and also the offensive coordinator for the 2001 Division I national champion Oklahoma Sooners. He has coached a Heisman Trophy winner, two Davy O’Brien Trophy recepients as well as two AP National Player of the Year award winners. • Co-Offensive Coordinator/Wide Receivers Coach David Beaty returns to Kansas after a one-year hiatus. Beaty helped develop former Jayhawks Dezmon Briscoe and Kerry Meier into two of the most productive receivers in program history. • Recruiting Coordinator/Running Backs Coach Reggie Mitchell helped bring in the 34th-ranked recruiting class to Kansas in 2011. He has coached in 11 bowl games in his career, including two at Kansas in the 1990’s. He has coached a running back that has appeared in each of the last three Super Bowls.

• Offensive Line Coach J.B. Grimes is a veteran offensive coach, who has coached in 14 bowl games including two Sugar Bowls, one Cotton and one Orange. He has been a part of five conference champion teams and one national championship team. • Tight Ends/Special Teams Coach Aaron Stamn worked with Coach Gill at Buffalo, before coming to Kansas last year. He has coached three players that have been named to the John Mackey Tight End Award watch list and a Ray Guy Punter Award finalist.
