Academics
The Student-Athlete Support Services staff focuses all collective resources in support of the academic, personal and interpersonal development of each individual it serves. As part of its commitment to the academic success of its athletes, Kansas Athletics completed a new academic complex in the summer of 2009. The facility features individual study rooms, a computer lab and offices for all Student-Athlete Support Services personnel. Director of Records and Coordinator of International Student-Athlete Support, Phil Lowcock, is the academic advisor for the KU baseball team. Lowcock has 17 years of experience working with student-athletes at the University of Kansas. He also teaches a Life Skills class, which is a required course for many freshmen.
