Kurfiss Sotheby's International Realty was established more than 40 years ago by David Kurfiss in New Hope, Pa. Purchased by Donald D. Pearson in 1991, the company became an agency that offered buyers and sellers the personalized attention of a real estate boutique with the backing of professional marketing, lending and title services. In 2006, recognizing global real estate trends and the need to establish a truly international marketing platform, Pearson decided to affiliate Kurfiss with Sotheby’s International Realty. The company now serves clients in Bucks County, Philadelphia, on the Main Line and in select markets in New Jersey. After more than 20 years of assisting clients with homes old and new, lots and land and even commercial buildings, cumulative sales surpassed $2 billion with more than 5,000 transactions completed by the company.
