Eric Carter Assistant Coach 6th Season at Ottawa University Coach Carter is a 1997 graduate from Santa Fe Trail High School where he lead the Chargers to a perfect 26-0 record and a Kansas State 4A Championship his senior year. He then went on to a standout career at Washburn University where he ranks in the top ten all-time in both scoring and rebounding. In his senior year at Washburn, the Ichabods were the NCAA Division II National Runner-Up. Later graduated from Washburn in 2002 with a degree in history and political science. Carter received his Master’s in Education with an emphasis in athletic administration from William Woods University. He has two years head coaching experience at Jayhawk-Linn High School and played three seasons in Perth, Australia. The 2004 Perth team won the State Basketball League Championship. Carter assists with recruiting for the Braves and brings a wealth of experience working with the Braves front-line players.
Aaron Siebenthall Assistant Coach 5th Season at Ottawa University
Coach Siebenthall came to Ottawa from Lawrence High School where he spent six seasons as the varsity assistant and head junior varsity coach. During that time he helped lead the Lions to two trips to the state tournament. Siebenthall is a 2002 graduate from the University of Kansas with a degree in history and received his teaching licensure through Washburn University. He received his Master’s in Education with an emphasis in educational technology from Ottawa University. Siebenthall is currently teaching education classes in the Ottawa University education department. Siebenthall spent three years as a practice player for the KU Women’s program, has been the director for the Lawrence High summer camps and has worked numerous other camps. He also coached football at LHS from 2001-2004. Siebenthall is a member of the Kansas Coaches Association. He is the recruiting coordinator for the Braves and works with the perimeter players.
