Creating a Google Account The following instructions are for creating a Google account so you can use Google’s free tools. This is NOT a g-mail account (Google free e-mail accounts). You can use any e-mail account to create your Google account, because this is only used to log in. Which ever email you use - home or school, you will need to have access to it to click on the confirmation message Google sends BEFORE you can begin using Google tools. PLEASE REMEMBER TO OPEN THE VERIFICATION EMAIL FROM GOOGLE AND CLICK ON THE LINK TO ACTIVATE YOUR GOOGLE ACCOUNT OR YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THE GOOGLE TOOLS. K. Santillo

Go to http://www.google.com.

Click on SIGN IN in the upper-right corner.

On the next page, click CREATE AN ACCOUNT NOW.

Complete the account registration form on the next page. Make sure you complete all information and the WORD VERIFICATION. When finished, click on I ACCEPT. CREATE MY ACCOUNT.

A verification email message will be sent to the email address you provided. Open the email and click on the link to activate your Google account.
Once the account has been activated, RECORD your username (the email address you used) and password for later reference, if needed.
