This year, Kroc Center Hawaii is offering kids ages 5–17 a unique opportunity to grow, learn, and have fun while learning new skills and building relationships. With a variety of summer intensive classes to choose from, kids are sure to find something they’ll love.

Class Descriptions
Summer Fun at the Kroc offers a variety of week-long intensive classes for students. Kids will have five extended sessions per class to discover and explore new disciplines or grow their skills!

TEE BALL
KROC SPORTS INSTRUCTOR KROC FIELD AGES: 5–8 | $105
Athletes will learn hand and eye coordination, ball handling, field positions, and more. Batting helmet and catcher’s mitt required.
BASKETBALL
JUNE 20–24, 10AM–12PM KROC SPORTS INSTRUCTOR KROC GYMNASIUM AGES: 6–12 | $105
This intensive will focus on footwork, dribbling, and shooting and improve overall basketball fundamentals.
VOLLEYBALL

Sharpen your skills while learning how to bump, spike, set, and serve with proper technique in a fun environment.
SOCCER

Athletes will learn creative foot skills, trapping, passing, and shooting basics at this high-energy class.
JUNIOR LIFEGUARD
AGES: 12–17 | 5 CLASSES | $160
This course is an intro to Lifeguard skills, basic water rescue skills, stroke development, and water endurance needed to effectively respond to and prevent injuries in and out of the water. Participants will work alongside our Kroc Center Hawaii lifeguards and gain realworld experience. Participants will learn the skills needed to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies for pool and water park environments. Students must be able to tread water for 2 minutes and swim 100 meters easily to be admitted on the first day of class. Please bring a swimsuit, goggles, water, snack, and a towel for each class.

Dance
PRINCE AND PRINCESS ROYAL SUMMER INTENSIVE JUNE 13–17 8:30–10:30AM JUNE 20–24 8:30–10:30AM JENNY RILEY-DOYLE OHIA CLASSROOM AGE 5–8 | $150/WEEK
We’re calling all Princes and Princesses! Join us at the Kroc Dance Academy during summer break to learn more about royal etiquette, French vocabulary, and ballet history. Throughout the week, we will dance like the French King Louis the 14th, who created the ballet syllabus and opened the very first ballet school in Paris, France.
INTERMEDIATE RUSSIAN BALLET JUNE 13–17, 11AM–12:45PM JUNE 20–24, 11AM–12:45PM JENNY RILEY-DOYLE OHIA CLASSROOM AGE: 8–12 | $300
This intensive is tailored towards more intermediate students who are looking at creating a firm foundation in classical technique. Students will learn a full Vaganova barre and center for demonstration. This class will also explore some of the intricacies of the Russian style. Pointe is not required, may be incorporated.

This intensive is tailored towards more advanced students who are looking at creating a firm foundation in classical technique. Students will learn a full Vaganova barre and center for demonstration. DANCE EXPLOSION INTENSIVE; BEGINNER DANCERS

Dance Explosion is an exciting and energetic intro into the world of dance for older children. It is fast paced, nonstop motion geared towards those who have not had years of formal training, but are looking for fun summer activities! With a combination of hip hop, ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, and even yoga, students will get to sample the most popular of our styles. The week will culminate in a small performance for guests, that includes many types of dance and student choreography.
Musical Theatre
KEIKI MUSICAL INTENSIVE JUNE 6–17, 3–5PM COURTNEY BOOTH ART STUDIO AGES: 7–18 | $275
Join us in this 2-week intensive as we sing and dance our way through different genres of musicals! All students will put their talents on display for friends and family on the last class day as we host our musical showcase!
