If colors could talk, what sounds would they be?
Would yellow bzzz like a bright bumblebee or tweet tweet tweet like a baby chickadee?
Green would rustle like the trees when they shiver or would it ribbit ribbit like the frogs by the river?
Would orange flutter by like a butterfly in flight...
...Or maybe it would crackle like a campfire in the night.
The drip drop of rain would have to be blue, onto my umbrella and into mud puddles too!
Of all the colors I know red would sound the best, like a mommy’s kiss before I lay down to rest.
