EARLY ACCEPTANCE PROGRAMS

SOUTH welcomes the

blue-sky thinkers, the bold risk takers and the big play makers who want to start things today they will be proud of tomorrow.

At the University of South Alabama, SOUTH for short, we offer early acceptance programs for our College of Medicine, College of Nursing, and Department of Physical Therapy. All students who meet the requirements by the specified deadlines will be considered. These programs are highly competitive, and students interested in these programs are encouraged to apply early. What is an Early Acceptance Program? South’s Early Acceptance Programs (EAP) are for students who see themselves in one of the following health careers: Medical Doctor, Nurse, or Physical Therapist. These programs open the door for high ability incoming freshmen to have a seat in the program without having to compete with other students at the professional level. All students in these programs must meet Early Acceptance Program standards as well as requirements for the professional programs to which they are entering. These programs are only for incoming first time freshmen who are graduating from high school in the same year they plan to enroll at USA. Letters of recommendation are not considered for any of the Early Acceptance Program applications.
