I am from the small town of Ponca City, Okla. I am an on ly child and super close with my family. My dad owns his own pest co ntrol business and growing up it was always assumed that I would take over the business when I grad uated college. However, this is not my idea of a fun job. I want a job whe re I can meet new people, have fun adventures and see more of the world than my small home town.

I interned this past summer at the OKC All Sports Association. This is a nonprofit amateur sporting event company. We host the Big 12 Baseball and Softball championships each year, the AllCollege Basketball Classic and numerous other events. During my internship we were hosting the Big 12 Softball tournament and the ESPN Golf Invitational. I loved my internship because I got to become fully immersed in planning these events. I was able to write press releases to local and national news outlets, contact teams and sponsors to invite them to our events and help coordinate on the day of each event. I was able to see how an event is put together from day one to a month after it is complete.
I will be moving to F ort Worth at the end of January after my wed ding. Fort Worth is in a great location and h as lots of fun happen ings. They bring in a lot of local entertainment along with a lot of cool fest ivals that would be fu n to be a part of. My family lives in Pon ca City, Okla. and my fiancĂŠs family lives in Houston, Texas so it is a perfect central lo cation to all my family .
