Coasts and Lakes

– Unwind in a beautiful and tranquil setting on the Nankumba Peninsula Pumulani Luxury Beach Lodge is situated on the south end of Lake Malawi – romantically named "The Lake of Stars". The lodge is subtly nestled in lush hills, among trees and craggy outcrops. The Nankumba Peninsula is recognized as one of the most beautiful shores of the lake and borders Lake Malawi National Park, which was established to protect the area’s cichlid fish. In 1984, the park became a World Heritage-listed site. The lodge is built on a steep hillside that provides spectacular views from the villas, dining area and main lodge. The central area consists of a spacious open restaurant with a covered section, bar and a cozy fire-pit. The infinity pool is on a lower terraced deck. The ten villas are individual in shape and style, but each has a spacious bedroom, bathroom and extensive sitting area. Simply relax amid the tranquil scenery or enjoy the many activities on offer, including snorkeling, kayaking, water-skiing, fun-tubing, wake-boarding, sailing, fishing and diving.
