It is obligatory that Supreme Championships shall be judged in accordance with the rules for championships, as published in the schedule and catalogue. All horses placed first and second in a qualifying ATH breeding/in-hand class segregated according to year of birth shall be eligible to compete in the respective Supreme ATH Championship Class. Supreme ATH Championships will consist of the following sex designations: (a) (b) (c)

Mare/Filly ATH Championship – Eligibility for all qualified fillies and mares shown in the ATH division Stallion/Colt ATH Championship – Eligibility for all qualified colts and stallions shown in the ATH division Gelding ATH Championship – Eligibility for all qualified geldings shown in the ATH division

Gold (1st Champion), Silver (2nd Champion), and Bronze (3rd Champion) Supreme ATH Champions will be awarded in the Arabian Breeders Word Cup Supreme ATH Championship for Mares/Fillies and Stallions/Colts. Only a Gold (Champion) and Silver (Reserve Champion) shall be awarded in the Arabian Breeders World Cup Gelding In-Hand ATH Supreme Championship.

SUPREME GELDING IN-HAND CHAMPIONSHIP It is obligatory that Supreme Championships shall be judged in accordance with the rules for championships, as published in the schedule and catalogue. All horses placed first and second in the qualifying gelding in-hand classes segregated according to year of birth shall be eligible to compete in the Supreme Gelding In-Hand Championship Class. Only a Gold (Champion) and Silver (Reserve Champion) shall be awarded in the Arabian Breeders World Cup Gelding In-Hand Supreme Championship.

Class Conduct & Specifications

SUPREME AMATEUR TO HANDLE (ATH) CHAMPIONSHIPS

QUALIFYING SECTIONS for YEARLINGS, TWO & THREE YEAR OLDS Classes for Yearling Fillies (101) & Yearling Colts (201) will be split into even sections of 8-12 entries per section. Classes for Two Year Old Fillies (102), Three Year Old Fillies (103) & Two Year Old Colts (202) will be split into even sections of 10-15 entries per section. Each class will have a minimum of two qualifying sections (A & B) and may have as many as six sections (A-F). Each qualifying section will be considered a separate class for the respective age/sex division, will receive class Top Five trophies, ribbons & garlands accordingly, and will be conducted according to the CLASS CONDUCT – BREEDING & IN-HAND CLASSES specifications outlined in detail in this premium. Each first and second place winner from each section will qualify for either the Yearling or Junior Supreme Championship on Sunday.

BROODMARE CLASS

Any eligible mare may show in the Broodmare class – NO CROSS ENTRIES are permitted between the Broodmare class and the respective age divisions (4 Year Olds, 5 Year Olds, 6-8 Year Olds, 9 & Older).

LIBERTY JACKPOT Open to all purebred Arabians, including geldings. Horses are to be shown without tack and equipment. A two-minute time limit will be allowed for each horse in the qualifying rounds and in the championship final. No more than two handlers per horse are allowed in the ring at one time. Handlers will lead horse to designated marker. Time and music will start when halter is removed. Time will expire at the signal of the time keeper; handlers will be allowed two minutes to catch horse following the timekeeper’s signal. Horses not caught at the end of the two minute period will be eliminated. The use of a standard show whip is allowed. Each entry will furnish a music CD for their performance. The CD must be marked with the horse’s name and entry number. Should the exhibitor fail to supply musical accompaniment, the Show Committee reserves the right to choose appropriate music. Judges will score each entry. The scoring system shall be comprised of 5 categories: TYPE, CHARISMA & PRESENCE, QUALITY & CONFORMATION, MOVEMENT and PERFORMANCE. Scores shall be assigned in the range of 1 through 10 for each category with 50 designating the highest possible total score. Those horses receiving the five (5) highest scores will be considered TOP FIVE in the final on Sunday morning. Both a Champion (highest point score earner) and Reserve Champion (second highest point score earner) will be awarded. Champion to receive at 75% of Jackpot; Reserve Champion shall receive 25% of Jackpot. Jackpot payout to consist, at minimum, of $150 from each Liberty class entry. The Show Committee may commit additional prize money prior to the Final. These classes are non-USEF rated. The Show Committee shall handle all disputes and inquiries and the decision of the committee shall be final.

Open to purebred mares of ANY AGE. Eligible entries must meet the following minimum requirements: (a) Mare must have carried, delivered and nursed at least two (2) purebred Arabian foals (embryo transfer foals will not count toward the total number of foals carried). (b) Mare MUST NOT be nursing a foal at side at the time of showing. (c) Mare MAY BE in foal at the time of the show, but MUST NOT be more than nine (9) months in foal. If a mare more than 150 days in foal is shown in the Broodmare class, a Service Certificate from a licensed veterinarian or reproductive technician must be presented to the Show Office which includes the last service date and a positive pregnancy confirmation.
