KIBU LIFE évvel azután, hogy megalkult a HONF, Somlai-Fischer Szabolcs és a KIBU meghívott hogy töltsek velük egy kis időt és ez a rövid kis rezidenskedés elég volt arra, hogy érezzem és lássam a budapesti „média labor” kialakulását. Rövid időn belül új barátokat szereztem, és úgy éreztem, hogy ez a hely pont olyan szenvedélyes és eltökélt, mint a HONF volt mikor kezdődött. Mostanáig nagyon nehéz volt megfogalmazni, hogy miféle is volt az a szellemiség és vágy amit valójában éreztem. Abszolút nem absztrakt, több annál, valósnak éreztem a szellemiséget. A beszélgetéseim, amit több barátommal is folytattam akkoriban, így épültek fel: 20% KIBU és projektek, 15% Budapest és Magyarország, 21% hogyan élünk és élünk túl, 7% zene, kaja és pia, 5% időjárás és miegymás, a legnagyobb részt pedig tervekről, álmokról, jövőről, lehetőségekről. Én úgy láttam, hogy a legnagyobb rész arról a „valamiről” szólt ami „előre mutat”, ami „nemsokára megtörténik”, tehát arra következtettem, hogy az a rész volt egyben a legbonyolultabb de a legfontosabb is. Ez azt jelenti, hogy a beszélgetések felépítése is alátámasztja, hogy mindannyian, akik mindig a „laborban” dolgozunk, örökké előre fognak mutatni, és nem hagyjuk annyiban az „álmainkat”. A kérdés az , hogy meddig? Hmm … lehet, hogy addig amíg ezek a lények akiket „embereknek” hívnak képesek lesznek arra amit úgy hívunk, hogy „gondolkodás”. Igen! Vége! In 2009, exactly ten years of the establishment of HONF, Adam Somlai Fischer and KIBU invited me to stay there, a short duration residency that allowed me to see and feel the development of ‘media lab’ in Budapest. Within a short time, I got new friends, and felt like being in a place that has the same passion and desire as now, when I sit and reflect on my current chair at HONF. And till now, It is really hard for me to write what kind of spirit and desire I actually felt. Absolutely not abstract, more than that, I felt the spirit as very real. My conversations with several friends at that time were 20% KIBU and projects, 15% of Budapest and Hungary, 21% of how we live and survive, 7% of the music, food and alcohol, 5% of the weather and the rest, the biggest part, was about the plans, dreams, divinations, opportunities and future plans. Personally I could see that the biggest part was about “something” that was “forward” or “about to happen” so I could conclude that part was the most difficult and important. This means that the structure of the conversations also signified that all of us there, who are always working for a ‘lab’, will continue to lead to something that is forward and the “dream” will always stay there. The question is for how long? Hmm ... maybe as long as species called “humans” will have what we call it “thinking”. Yup! Finished! Ah! 48 minutes, ...
