MAKING CONNECTIONS Throughout my life, I have had a strong interest with nature starting at an early age. When I was 19 months old I drowned in a pool. After being life flighted to a hospital in Jacksonville Florida I died once and then fell into a coma. After three days in the coma I awoke unharmed. When I was released from the hospital, my grandmother threw a coming home party for me. At the party I was missing for a little while, my parents and relatives went looking for me only to find me in a room staring at a large oil painting of Jesus praying at a rock. At 19 month old, with no comprehension of religion told my family that I had seen him and he’d saved me. That began my fascination of the spiritual and the natural world. I sought to see connections in all living things and notice similarities that others overlooked. I continue to analyze and experiment with the relationship between humans and nature as well as our deeper connection to everything in the world. In this book are some of those experiments.
