EXCELLENCE IN ART SINCE 1963

As the summer art season in Jackson takes hold, the gallery has a full schedule of shows beginning in June and continuing through the Fall Arts Festival in September. We are excited to bring collectors several events over the next four months that will feature many of the gallery’s most esteemed artists! On the following pages we have highlights of our June events, specifically our showcases for artists Bruce Cheever, David Dibble, and Robert Moore. Cheever is known for his affinity for luminism; his atmospheric and bucolic landscapes suggestive of the Renaissance era. Dibble, who describes his style as organic formalism, is known for portraying weathered barns, rural western landscapes, and other agrarian scenes. Artist Robert Moore’s distinctive combination of brush and palette knife, coupled with his use of heavy surface texture brings forth a passion and energy to every canvas. In addition, we are pleased to take this opportunity to introduce several new designs by the award-winning furniture artisan Brad Greenwood who is nationally known for preserving the timehonored virtues of old world craftsmanship.

David Dibble, Last Year's Fort, oil on linen, 48 x 48 inches, $12,000

We are also pleased to present a selection of bronzes by Arizona sculptor Cynthia Rigden, who was recently honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Desert Caballeros Museum in Wickenburg, Arizona. Widely acclaimed for her depictions of horses and livestock, her ability to convey vignettes true to ranch life—with power, grace and accuracy—is a hallmark of her work. Should your travels bring you to Jackson this summer, we look forward to having you stop in for a visit!
