Excellence in ART since 1963.

DEAR FRIENDS, Our 2013 art season is well under way and we have a wonderful offering of new artwork in both our Scottsdale and Jackson galleries. This March we are featuring our annual Western Classics show which brings together many of the finest western representational artists in the country. The allure of the west is one that reaches far and wide. Our featured artists are inspired to record their own unique views of the American west, and each work in our show, whether a contemporary representation or historic viewpoint, gives one a sense of the rich fabric that has shaped the west. Likewise, our yearly “Wildlife Discovery” show held at our Jackson, Wyoming location showcases new works from an outstanding group of nationally known artists who are inspired to paint or sculpt all things wild! Jackson is the perfect setting for this show as the area is a virtual Mecca for wildlife enthusiasts including photographers, nature buffs and of course, wildlife artists! While these artists each bring their own unique interpretation of animals to their canvas or three dimensions works, they all share a deep commitment to the preservation of wildlife and our natural world.

Z.S. Liang, The Buffalo Caller, 46 x 28, Oil, $33,000. Sold by Draw

Our upcoming show for award winning artist Mian Situ takes place March 25 – April 7. “Colors of the Shaoshu Minzu” presents Mian at his inspired best. Shaoshu Minzu refers to the 55 ethnic minorities officially recognized by the People’s Republic of China. Mian has captured each subject with remarkable sensitivity, keen perception of design, and joyous use of color. His paintings convey a visual splendor, as everyday people accent their surroundings with rhythm, texture and hue. The patterns and rich colored clothing create a magical, jewel-life scenario. Mian will be present for the artist’s reception in Scottsdale on Thursday, April 4 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. I hope you can join us for this special evening. As always, we remain steadfast in our commitment to our customers, which is to listen, communicate and respond swiftly to the needs and interests of our collectors. We welcome any input and comments as to how we might better serve your art collecting needs. We look forward to seeing you in the gallery. Maryvonne Leshe Managing Partner

J OA N N P E R A LTA JoAnn Peralta received her artistic training in her early twenties when she received a full-scholarship to Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. She then worked for eight years as an illustrator for book publishing companies, also creating video covers and magazine cover illustrations. Later, her love of painting transitioned naturally into fine art, which allowed her the opportunity to pay homage to her grandmother’s memory through her art. JoAnn’s paintings are inspired by her Spanish-Mexican heritage. As she continues to grow and develop as a painter, she has pursued many aspects of the Hispanic lifestyle and regularly paints Latin subjects. She endeavors to capture her subjects just as they are—with their unique coloring and strong work ethnic. JoAnn is a yearly exhibitor at the Masters of the American West Exhibition and Sale at The Autry National Center.
