Special Guest: By Samantha Kurtz A few weeks ago, Cynthia Massarsky came to present for our Key club and the officers when it came to a project she wanted us to get involved in. By the end of our meeting we became a supporter and helper for her cause. There is a new property in Tenafly that people are applying to so they can live for free in our expensive town. The way that it works is that the company she works through is putting together a website so that people could donate enough money for part of a couch or a lamp shade so these people arrive to a fully furnished house. This is really great because we are able to give back to people in our community who cannot afford proper living environment. Part of out job is to get the word out and be there to help in anyway needed. We will be actively getting donors and volunteers to give these people a new home.

Tenakey In The District: By Daisuke Saito In order to raise awareness of how serious a problem autism is within New Jersey. Our state has the highest rate of autism in the Union, with 1 out of 45 children born in New Jersey being affected with the disorder. The New Jersey District of Key Club is officially partnered with Ms. Beth Callahan, a public advocate for autism awareness. And is taking part in a walk in the upcoming Go the Distance for Autism Bike Ride on May 31st, a community fundraiser for four educational and treatment programs for kids and adults with autism across the state.
