KentuckyNRES is the name for the University of Kentucky's Natural Resource and Environmental Science (NRES) program. NRES is an interdisciplinary bachelor of science degree grounded in the natural AND social sciences. The curriculum is rich in experiential learning, requiring a 3-week summer camp and an internship or research experience. With small class sizes, one-on-one faculty interactions, writing intensive courses, and a strong network of Alumni working to make a difference locally and globally, NRES is a proven program that has been in existence for over 20 years!
